I think she's too pregnant to do it.

You're burning your toast wrong or you're smelling the wrong kind of herb. Lol. It just never smelled like that to me. :D

He's from the Comedy Central show "Workaholics." If you haven't seen it yet, see it. It's amazing.

No one should be surprised that Bill Maher is celebrating. He's very clear about his stance on MJ. I love him!

"Oh, he's so cute."

My friend is fostering a litter of Shar-Pei dogs. Anyone here ever had one? I'm thinking about adopting one of the babies. Any interesting personality traits?

Some guys just live in basements, that's a fact. I don't think it makes them creepy. I think unwarranted sexually suggestive behavior is where "creep" is appropriate. This is why I think most guys don't want to be called creeps. It makes them feel like the woman is suggesting that they are crossing boundaries.

That's a perfect explanation!

Has anyone ever used those color lenses? They look interesting. I have no need to change my eye color, but I am wondering if anyone here has ever tried them.

I didn't say it didn't make sense. And I don't think you get it. You don't have to be in a combat job to be in a combat situation. When a supply convoy moves, an infantry unit will accompany it, but when shit happens: everyone is a combat troop, including the support personnel. Like I said, 2 jobs: Infantry and

But you are assuming it's based on combat and not on MOS. Some MOS's promote more frequently than others. But this isn't the point of my comment.

The link didn't work. You can show me a paper all you want and google anything. But it's different on paper than it is in the field. I'm not saying going down range doesn't help. It does. I'm lucky enough to have been there and it clearly helped for my promotions.

I wouldn't say it's more heavily from combat at all. A majority of troops are not infantry or artillery. I would say it has to do with a mixture of promotion tests, job performance, necessity, and politics. It is a very political atmosphere.

Frowny face :(

I love that image, too!

That's not entirely true. We do not "barely see [our enemy's] face's." It really depends on what you mission is. In an urban environment, get ready to see plenty of "faces." In fact, most combat takes place in a very short range. And you can't generalize about hand to hand combat. Have I been in a fist fight with a

That's too bad. I don't mean to be a jerk, but it's too bad that the only way you wanted to join was if you can shoot people. I've been there, done that. It's not an experience I wish upon anyone, but being in the military is an experience I recommend to anyone who is interested. There were women attached to my unit

I don't know why it matters what color the gentlemen is. Love is love.

I like your post! I'm assuming Army, because you said soldier? Either way, Hooah! from a fellow Marine! Thanks for your service!

Being in the Marines, having been deployed with a regimental combat team and participated in combat operations in Afghanistan: In hindsight, I don't know why anyone would want to be in a combat job. The things you do are not "fun." They are not something I would wish everyone had the chance to do. They are terrible,
