It really depends on where you are in the world. In the United States, putting a photo on your resume will just make people laugh at you. Other countries, it’s required.

Absolutely. In the US anyway, your photo does not belong on your resume unless you’re a model or performer (actor, singer, etc.), and even then you probably have a portfolio with headshots and a separate resume.

Everything in reality tv is highly scripted and controlled. And if you want to talk about the Kardashians, they control every bit of what people see on that show. There is no comparison here to the way Jennifer had her privacy invaded. 

Jennifer Lawrence gets work on the strength of her own name, she’s hardly a newcomer.

You know he’s gonna hook up with Jennifer Lawrence and end up having like two kids with her. Poor Anna Faris.

That is great news. Hopefully the show at least will give us a good adaptation.

Is it still confirmed that the show is going to be made? I’m afraid when this movie tanks (as it almost certainly will - I mean I’m going to see it tonight but I fully expect it will suck), the show will evaporate.

Idris Elba was definitely the best fit for the part. He is everything that Roland is - strong, deadly, brave as fuck, an intimidating badass, but still with emotional range. Anybody who saw him in Pacific Rim should be able to see that in a second. The part went to the best actor, period.

If Roland can be black (which, I’m a huge fan of the books, and he can, it’s totally canon), then any other character can be, too. If Idris Elba is seriously the only black person in this movie that’s fucked up.

I literally know a Blake, a Chad and a Darren that fit this description. Also a Robbie.
