Repealing the Hyde Amendment would be so fucking huge! I am thrilled she brought it up.

Music to my ears, Hillary! <3

I’ve been raped and I find your comments to be disgusting. So yeah, fuck off.

The definition of rape is sex without consent. If the consent is based on a lie - like for example if someone lies and says they’re not hiv positive, and you decide it’s ok to sleep with them because of that - then that is rape.

Nah, not true. It can start at any time especially if substance abuse suddenly gets much worse as seems to have been the case here. My father didn’t get bad until he was in his thirties, and he and my mom were together since their late teens. It was when he became an alcoholic that everything went bad.

Lol but it makes sense, if you were a horny, lonely ghost and you could have your pick of humans, wouldn’t you go for the celebs, too?

It might be the lighting in this case but yeah, it is totally a thing, and it’s a thing I hate.

Me too :)

Best shape I was ever in was when I was stocking shelves in a grocery store during the day and washing dishes at a college dining hall at night. It was hard at the time but I kinda miss all the mandatory physical activity.

This is so besides the point but is Rachel Roy wearing highlighter only on the tip of her nose in that picture? The rest of her face looks matte and it looks weird af.

Cats, too. And for god’s sake don’t get chickens or rabbits unless you are fully aware of what they need and committed to taking care of them. They’re not just cute toys!

Strictly health-wise, yeah that is too much. Add them all up, add up the calories in each one, for caloric reasons alone it’s too much and the calories are not the only bad thing in alcohol. That’s why your doctor says that, because technically that is too much for your body. You won’t fall down dead but it’s

Not true at all, actually! Just looking at artists, Grandma Moses didn’t start painting until she was 76. Other people started doing the things they were famous for earlier, but not in earnest until they were into their 30s and 40s, like Claude Monet and Van Gogh. There are creative types like Jon Hamm who never get a

Yeah, it’s still a significant hunk of money.

No, actually :) Because there is no lack of representation of straight white men. So having someone who isn’t that fill that role is no problem. Much like I have no problem (and in fact am very happy) with times when black actors are cast in traditionally white roles. It’s about representation in media. Get it?

Still no actor shortage in this world.

There’s no shortage of actors in the world. They seem to find plenty of them to be stand ins and stunt doubles. Plus we have makeup and even cg. It’s not an excuse.

That would make a difference. Still doesn’t automatically mean they couldn’t cast somebody who’s disabled, though, and used a lookalike for the flashbacks. Kinda like how in Orange is the New Black, they cast a trans woman and in the flashbacks before her transition, the part is actually played by her real life

But it’s not like there aren’t disabled actors out there who could play that role. There are. Having people who aren’t disabled play those parts does matter. Would you say the same about having a white person play a Native American? Or a cis person plays a trans person? There are so many actors out there to choose

I first heard the term “cripface” from Mat Fraser, who played Seal Boy in American Horror Story. He’s a really awesome guy, he was also in this documentary about people affected by thalidomide. Basically if he and others like him choose to use that word I’m certainly not going to butt my dumb ass in and say they
