This breakup is probably her doing now that I think about it.

Quick, Karlie! Now’s your chance!
Yeah. At least he actually seems to care about the well-being of sex workers, which is a hell of a lot more than you’d get from any Republican.
That movie broke my gd heart. Like I’m still not over it. That was the best performance I’ve ever seen from either of them, I think, in the last few minutes of the film. Especially Carell. It was just so good.
Hopefully she’s getting pap smears from her primary care physician? Any doctor can do one.
That’s horrible!
So? Again that doesn’t mean that nothing happened, just that nothing happened in front of the police. So they say, anyway. As others are pointing out police lie about high profile domestic violence incidents all the time - look at all the pro athletes.
Ouch!
No signs of injuries on her face - actually her face was covered by her hair in that picture. So again that doesn’t prove anything.
About the police report saying no signs of abuse at the time - that means nothing to me. Bruises don’t show up in an instant, it can take time. And it’s not like a domestic violence victim has ever told the police everything was all right when it wasn’t, right? I’m sure that’s never happened before.
Many of his coworkers have addressed it already, though, but as far as I am aware, only to say that they are ok with it and that they don’t think it’s sexism. And I get why they say that, because it’s their source of income, but at this point I just have no patience with them.
Yup. A friend of mine met him because her mother was the president of his oldest fan club, back in the day. He flew their whole family out to one of the Pirates sets and gave them all generous gifts, and was very kind. Another friend of mine is related to the side of Depp’s family that he apparently never talks to,…
I didn’t say it did. But frankly considering I’ve never heard a peep from him on how sexist the show is, or how much sexism his female coworkers have to take on a daily basis, I just don’t feel any need to give him the benefit of the doubt as others here seem to, that, oh, he really meant blah blah blah.
Sexism against men is right up there with racism against white people as far as I’m concerned.
I don’t get that impression from his comments here at all. My main takeaway is that he’s if anything, benignly ignorant as to what sexism actually is. Not a shocker considering who he works with.
That’s not sexism, but ok, thanks for your input, Jon Snow.
Damn, that is horrifying. I’m also in the midwest but our unofficial dress code is nowhere near as strict as that, thank goodness.
Yeah, I have a bad mark on my credit score because there was an issue with a scholarship I got. Basically they didn’t pay out on time so I was late on a semester of grad school tuition - quite late. Like they didn’t get me the money to pay it until much later, just before my graduation. So it was paid, but still by…
I pretty much only ever buy clothes that I could wear to work nowadays. We have a pretty standard business casual environment - no sleeveless shirts, men have to wear a button down or polo, no flip flops, and jeans only on Fridays or when boss is out of the country (we very rarely meet with clients in person so what…
So...all Americans are stereotypical macho men?
