I enjoyed the show. Glad Dr. Fauci got a shout out. And loved Brad as him. As they say. WIshes do come true. I’m impressed that SNL is doing this. It’s hard for them to basically be doing 1 man/woman shows. so good job all around

Overall, I didn’t think the show was funny. However, I was impressed on how they’re able to put a show together so well while working remotely. That also kind of scares me.
you have to wonder if Pitt had the wig at home already, or if SNL shipped it to him.
This is a very shallow response to this, but whenever I’ve seen Brad Pitt in the past few years, I just want to know who his dermatologist and/or plastic surgeon are, because he looks about 15 years younger than he is without getting into uncanny valley territory.
One of my best friends is a man and a kindergarten teacher. While I have no doubt he would rock the dress (he’s a marathon runner with amazing legs), thank you for highlighting the sexism here!
Per Emily’s note below, and the corrected article, it was actually just bad math in what had been intended to be a accurate, not hyperbolic point. So, insofar as it was “unmistakable”, you appear to have been mistaken.
So my favorite company Universal Standard did something similar. They offered free t-shirts to health care workers. Their t-shirts are AMAZING, btw. Anyway, I think the demand far outweighed what they had, and since they are not owned my multimillionaires, or so I think, they created a program on their site Buy One,…
I never liked this idea from the start because it basically says that all those teachers we need to appreciate and give our gratitude to are women.
Emily admitted she calculated wrong, and fixed it. But saying the error was “pretty obviously being used in an unmistakeably hyperbolic way to make a point” (when that clearly was not the case) is some Trumpian-level justification right there.
I’m sorry, but are people seriously so dumb that they think “offers valid while supplies last; winners will be notified” = “everyone gets a dress?” The brand handled this poorly, but JFC people. I have never, ever seen that language used to mean everyone gets something for free.
There is a Grace and Frankie episode very similar to this, except with free donuts and vibrators.
Yeah, anyone with kids through this is not going ‘you know what would make this better BEING PREGNANT’. or the idea of having to do this again with more children.
You do not want to be giving birth in 9 months.
This will not be over in 9 months.
Everyone knows that when they start adding children and animals the series is on its last leg.
I’m very glad I voted for this dude. The response from him has been extraordinary.
Vet proud native Californian and brand new mother - I’m super pleased with his rapid response. Fuck yea.
Cuomo is a total piece of shit, who has been killing the schools and the subway for years. His new budget continues the austerity since apparently New York has been in a Great Depression for the past 10 years, regardless of what actually happens. Anyone who temporarily developed a crush on him should have been paying…
His response is perfect (and as a native, but now displaced Californian, makes me very proud), but I wish he had said, “To Congressman Nunes, I just say ‘moooo’.”
Grew up in Florida, so glad I moved to California many, many years ago.
I’m a native Californian, and I feel so fortunate to be living here during this crisis. Newsom has been amazing at acting quickly, and staying hopeful and optimistic. I’ve liked him ever since he was mayor of SF, but he’s really shining right now.
