yeah I work for a (great) independent fabric store, and I was really aggravated when our owner declared us an essential business because people were making masks. But we’re at least only doing no contact pickup and shipping, what JoAnn’s is doing is indefensible. And despite the fact that I’m making a seemingly

Same happened in europe too. I'm in France, small town near Spain. All the people from Paris and Toulouse suddenly appeared just before the lock down was set. And they don't give a crap about anything, while our rural area was having very few cases. I truly hope our government have enough of this and track people with

My wife says your reporting about the Home Edit is wrong. They were stranded in California, stocked up on supplies to avoid restaurants, and drove home using heavy-sanitization practices.

Yes! This! Thank you! NM has been staying home for weeks! Don’t bring your bullshit here!

I wish I could say I was surprised. I live near a major north/south interstate on the east coast. There are many, many people with those same tags (and many more besides) travelling through (after they were told to stay at home) in big-ass RVs going who knows where. My husband is a truck driver and has to travel that

These rural places need to start putting up signs. Locals only and refuse to serve anyone that isnt. Literally check licenses if need be but move these entitled citidiots on down the road. Most rural places have 1 hospital if we’re lucky and some dont even have icu beds. Fuck these assholes coming and spreading the

As a former NYC resident, I absolutely agree with your analysis. The only thing *they* gain is the ability to open the door of the RV (not a van, WTF?) and tell all those kids to go the fuck outside and play (run around with balls, basically) which is impossible to do easily in NYC. It’s a walk at best, and a trek at

Iowa already has 336 confirmed cases, and a dipshit governor that advises tests are only needed for the most high risk people displaying symptoms. Iowa already has coronavirus.

History repeats itself. Human behavior tries to defy nature and that nature kicks em in the ass.

The faster these assholes follow the rules, the faster I get my life and job back!

How stupid can you be to think having your family of seven based out of an RV during a pandemic is an even remotely good call? Have fun when you need to quarantine, assholes. There is no way to follow the guidelines and do what they’re doing.

YES. Same reason much of rural Britain is telling people to NOT flood the countryside, because their medical system absolutely cannot handle a spate of infections.

Rich New Yorkers and Bostonians are fleeing their cities for the likes of Newport and Block Island, RI, The Cape and Islands in MA, and Maine in hopes of “distancing.” But distancing isn’t getting really far away from people, it’s staying at a safe, non-communicable distance from others. And people who live in those

So: You have a place in the city, with heat that just comes on, endless water at the tap, a pipe that carries all your wastewater away, a full kitchen, lots of cabinets, full size stove and oven, big fridge, separate beds, and full media communication.

You pile into a vehicle that (at best) is 320 square feet, with 1/8

Agreed from Colorado. Not sure where they think they’re going either, we’ve been urged to not leave our counties and all campgrounds and established trailheads are closed. Not to mention that it’s still fully winter anywhere higher elevation or further North than Denver.

In theory if you isolate yourself from anyone else and only going to the grocery store and other essentials it should be fine, but you are travelling state to state, stopping at multiple places for gas and food, you would be spreading the virus unwittingly and irresponsibly

So glad I live in Iowa. It’l be a LONG time before the idiots are clamoring to come here.

“While we’ve been diligent about self-quarantining and social distancing”

This is the only way I will see these frauds from now on. As Matt Foley living their best #vanlife down by the river eating government cheese.
