I noticed it was delayed until March according to Gamestop.

I'm not quite sure why this is classified as unfair billing when consent was obtained via entering passwords and handing the locked device over to their kid. I also think it is in part due to how mobile game developers have been introducing their monetization.

I was aware that Durante was fiddling with it.

On the PC-side at least it's because Treyarch is at least conscious that a console design doesn't work on PC 100% of the time. I can't play Ghosts (or MW3 for that matter) for more than 20 minutes at a time before I get sick.

I really think people are overreacting. The patch was 6.9MB, of which that was all Steam downloaded. Works fine after that.

I LOVE curry, but.. there is such a thing as too much.. Ugh..

I can play up to 2560x1440. A cap at 1920x1080 is a problem.

I'd believe that, but I've seen no performance loss with all the blade mode things at high.

Video settings are pretty basic. You've got three tiers for things like texture quality, physics objects (labeled as "zengeki" or whatever that word is), as well as resolutions that cap at 1080 with up to whatever AA support they decided to provide.

Excuses. But even then, I'll be those streamed versions are just as expensive, and a poorer experience for it too.

It isn't just the size of your pipe. For things like this you have got to have a low latency connection and we're talking below 80ms or less. Onlive sucked because each input had that lag at 130ms. In shooters, it felt like you couldn't hit anything what so ever.

Hell.. I wish typing the name of the game in the search box at the top and hitting enter would launch that game.

I really don't need Steam to take up my entire screen, that's what big picture is for.

Recoil is handled differently in GO. Instead of jarring your view up, your spread shifts up. As you get more recoil, you need to pull your weapon down to compensate. You'll be looking towards the floor, but your shots will still hit.

Doesn't make it acceptable, and it still annoys the hell out of me as a user, buyer, and fan of a lot of even these smaller studios.

A Realm Reborn has stuck a chord with me. While I was bored to tears with World of Warcraft, ARR managed to take that formula and polish it nicely. I'm loving it, and the rate of improvements (not just new content, but actual UI and usability improvements) that they are pushing out is insanely wonderful.

We all know about PalmDesert. :P

Your friend has nothing on me.

There's a difference between all that and this. This is a deliberate shutdown caused by someone else. It is someone getting in front of customers and preventing them from accessing a store. Doing that in person results in the police called and at the very least a significant fine (since it impacts far less than a
