What he said.

But why use software to set those consoles apart? It just seems like a contrived way to convince people to either spent another $400-$500, maintain two multiplayer service accounts , or force people to go without the experience.

They were saying "Console Exclusive" and the like simply because there are PC builds of a lot of these games. IE: TESO already has a beta running on PC, so saying that the beta is exclusive to the PS4 wouldn't be true. Saying it is a console exclusive for the PS4 on the other hand..

If anything, console exclusives are damaging to the playerbase. Might be good for a console manufacturer, but bad for us.

This clamor for exclusives really bothers me. I'd rather these games (all of them) be available on all platforms for everyone to play rather than playing the "You must buy another platform" game with the playerbase.

Even if it wasn't the intent, the comment itself made the demo really awkward. I paused, then wasn't as interested because I had to figure out how I was going to interpret the comments and my attention was lost. This wasn't a damning statement by someone promoting a game for the Xbox One, but it didn't win points.

The fact that people were really put off by the comment says it was a seriously poor choice of words even if it wasn't intentional. I heard it (live) and paused for half-a-second trying to process it all. Unfortunately it just hurt their demo as it didn't seem like a fun game anymore, it was officially "too awkward"

It's a really strong start for the PS4. Let's hope it translates to great early adoption rates.

It just keeps getting better. I may try to actually play something imported for once.

I'm pre-ordering a PS4. It's a done deal. For this generation, Sony's got my money. Last year, both got a piece of my income.

Money is lined up for pre-order. $100 for the console, $5 for an extra controller.

It's unfortunate when people are paying for multiplayer in development. It really doesn't make sense anymore.

This is pretty silly as a requirement when people are already paying for multiplayer development and services. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

That's great news, really.. That's turned my attention away from the Xbox One entirely.

That's really my concern. I don't see this as anything more than just Assassin's Creed 3 with a different skin.

There looked to be severe performance problems too. Don't get me wrong, early build, but..

I like what I see with this game, but I'm a bit disappointed that there's no indication for PC release.

I liked what I saw, but knowing this is marketing, I'm concerned as to what the game will actually be.

You really aren't. When I'm pretty serious about getting stuff done things tend to get very specific and constant like it was in the video. Don't get me wrong, scripted is scripted, but I know that my friends and I do manage to keep ourselves fairly even when talking over VOIP out of a mutual respect.

Wait till [they] get going!
