I know that Great Job Internet is always just an excuse to post someone else's content for cheap clicks, but honestly ripping another entertainment website's story and putting enough key details in the piece that readers don't need to click through to the original piece seems pretty fucking beyond the pale. Like, you

My adoration for the original run of Excalibur knows no bounds, and the idea of Taika Waititi directing an Excalibur movie makes me weep with joy.  From your lips (er, keyboard) to God’s (Disney’s) ear!

To be fair, the X-men movie out right now was going to be bad either way. Since First Class was a success, all Fox has been doing with the X-men is make rushed adaptations of popular comic storylines that only loosely link together. They used the same writer who just tosses together a story named after a popular comic

Trial and error/very carefully.

I will say if you dug Ex Machina, you will definitely love I Am Mother! I got strong Ex Machina vibes off this film while I watched it! I thought it was excellent!

1. It’s called “Krakoa,” Krakatoa is the real volcano.

I post this in the public interest..

It was meant to reference the actual Hellfire Club. You should see the Avengers (British TV) episode with a similar org.

I’m guessing they belatedly realized it was body horror, a genre that is thirsted for by six guys on the internet and nobody else.

You’re absolutely correct that the audience had no history with Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey, especially when compared to deeper— if still underdeveloped— relationship with Famke Jansen. There’s no point to a Dark Phoenix story if you don’t know or care about Jean Grey.

Yeah, I remember being actually bummed when she came back in X-Factor. Plus then Scott also ditches his wife and kid without a second thought.

This entire thing has proved that the entire premise that people want to see the “Dark Phoenix” story “done right” was completely flawed. Despite caterwauling from X-Men comic book fans (I admit I read some of them as a kid), there really is no great market for this story. They erased the entire previous movie from

I’ve never read the comic, but after just watching Dark Phoenix, I actually enjoyed Last Stand’s version of the story more. No offense to Sophie, but I preferred Famke Jannssen’s more deranged take, even if she was completely underused.

74-year old Michael Douglas is one of the few people in Hollywood that has no reason to fear the ‘Berg.

That’s the problem with Sweden: its serial killers are publicly subsidised.

Ugh Electric Dreams, right?  SO disappointing.

I remember I was playing Candy Crush at the same time as I was watching “Fifteen Million Merits”.  It made me stop.

There’s a scene towards the first of the episode where at his job he lingers over a young girl’s toy or gives it back to her. You re-examine that scene after the ending, but still doesn’t confirm that he is a pedophile or if the trolls set him up.
