Ha, that's funny! I literally just finished reading a Stephen King book (On Writing) before reading Lena's book.

I really like Girls too, and think Lena is a good actress but I did not like this book. Her writing is very immature, even for a woman in her 20's. I felt like I was reading something written by a 9th grader. Maybe you'll have better luck, but as a fan of hers, I was disappointed.
I've made it through about 2 chapters and not sure I can stand to read any further. Not because of the subject matter, but because she is a TERRIBLE writer. Feels like I'm reading something written by a 9th grader who just found a thesaurus.
I would buy that shirt. I would also like a shirt that says "just because your dog is friendly, does not mean mine is". I hate when people let their off leash dogs bum rush my poor rescue pup and then yell out, "don't worry, he's friendly!!!" Um, great, but my dog isn't...so...
I also downloaded her book. TBH, it's just meh. Would not recommend.
Kudos to you and your pup. I also have a rescue dog who has made great strides since we've had her, but still has issues. She still dislikes other dogs, but is starting to warm up to kids, which is a great improvement for her. Also, she's stopped peeing on the floor anytime she meets a new person, so that's a plus!…
My pup is similar. Only gets aggressive if the other dog invades her personal space. As long as the other dog ignores her, she's fine.
My dog also prefers cats. She gets all snarly when she meets other dogs, but will go right up to the neighborhood cats and try to woo them into being her bff. I'm trying to convince my husband to get a cat, but he hates them. I'm thinking about staging a "oh, I found a kitten underneath our porch, we need to rescue…
Fully agree with you that the lack of needs blind admission is troubling. Especially because I was a generous recipient of that former benefit and without it, would likely not have been able to attend. And I agree that Wesleyan has changed for the worse, but I don't think it's necessarily because of more athletes…
So, athletes, STEM majors and rich people can't be politically active, liberal or artsy? (For the record, I'm a Wes alum who majored in art & dance while serving as captain of the track team and my husband is a Beta brother who just happened to be science major.)
To everyone wondering whether or not this will affect the sororities on campus, it will not. This only affects the residential fraternities who have houses. That being said, there are "non-residential" fraternities and sororities on campus who operate within the standards of the school's housing policy by living…
Ever since Roth was brought on board, the school has gone down hill.
False. Beta Theta Pi is currently suspended from the national organization, but they are still recognized as a chapter.
Fucking love Utz.
I'll say it then, they're all gorgeous people.
Immediately packs bags, moves to Iceland.
Yeah, I wouldn't touch a poop stand hand me down, but that's just me.
Or I could just go to a dance club?
I remember when the Dunks near me used to make everything in house. That shit was fresh. Now it's all reheated cardboard crap. Blech.
I was thinking the same thing!
