Many shops will make quotes like that because they are just going to shop out the work. Or they are ordering something like a Jasper rebuilt.
I’ve been looking into buying these glasses meant for Snapchat videos. I figured if I could save the video and piece it together it would be perfect for this. Then I could start a channel to show fixes for Jeep XJ’s where you can actually see what I’m doing instead of it being blocked by the angle.
I second him hitting the Southern Indiana one. Largely because I would try and talk my way into a ride along and my fiancée wouldn’t murder me for buying a car for it.
If you make it to southern Indiana I would happily give you a free head for the 92. I’ve got a couple spares in my garage. A 7120 and an 0331
I believe you are correct. In the next decade classic muscle will be flooding the market while taking a steep nose dive while our stuff climbs ever higher.
God I remember that 2007 bubble so well. Having seen 57 Chevy’s go for $250k and now they are worth about $60k still blows my mind. That and the mini and micro car explosion then too.
This is exactly why when i build my next Cherokee it is with BaT in mind. I want some of that sweet Radwood and BaT tax to come my way. Seriously, go check clean XJ prices on there.
Great, you’ve reminded my phone that I want to do a VM Motori swap in my XJ. I hope you’re happy.
I wonder if one could slip one through on the substantially similar clause. I doubt it but if somebody has enough money to waste it may be worth trying.
Not any longer but I’m not too far away from there.
My job is literally building these. I always love seeing videos showing how what I make works.
My problem was that pre baby my back seat was a storage area for stuff to come home. It sucks but I’ll upgrade.
It’s weird, we put a massive amount of miles on our vehicles pre baby. Now I hardly ever have anybody in my front passenger seat due to rear facing. It almost makes me want something like a Mustang to celebrate turning around in a couple years.
I’ll give you that one. My generation seems to be obsessed with CUVs like the Ford Escape and our car seat fits in that about as well as it does our car. It’s ridiculous. I will definitely be going minivan long before we even have our second child. I would like to be able to recline my seat again and have usable…
I didn’t realize this fact until I had to fit a rear face convertible seat in an old Elantra. I’m understanding why so many people buy suvs. Personally I already want a van.
I recommend keeping the suv for car seat duty and getting a separate, small car for commuting. Being tall and having a child and a commute nearly three times longer than his I know that’s what I want to do.
I’m glad you’ve done this because my dumbass has considered doing something similar several times over. Eventually I’ll buy an XJ at auction and do this.
It was just cheesy enough to be worth my time.
That’s what I thought this seemed like. I kind of enjoyed that cheesy ass show.
