This reason is exactly why my XJ is getting a 3” OME lift this summer and slightly larger tires.

I view him as potentially having a career not unlike Parnelli Jones but more successful. Sometimes people just want a taste of something different, that new challenge.

I’ve taken a long hiatus from this website. Seeing this comment made it feel worthwhile.

I love buying cheap shit heaps but at least I’m not in that delusional wonderland.

I love Jeep but this is kind of a no shit comment. Of course it’s going to be better and probably more reliable. If we bought a Jeep it would be a third vehicle but I foresee a bronco being a solid second vehicle.

This is a hard one. I’ve always wanted to put an ST engine in a Nash Metropolitan however two of these would do the job well.

Shit on HF for this all you want but there is a very, very high chance that their are other companies selling the exact same jackstands but with their own company sticker and a different coat of paint. They’ll pretend to do an investigation and delay the recall so they aren’t associated with HF now.

I say this so often and my fiancée has no clue.

I haven’t actively followed Jalopnik for a little while. What’s happened in the last 9 or so months?

French two door sedan with an in-line 8 front mid layout with rwd. Oddly spelled model name. It’s best feature is its reliability while also having shitty build quality. It’s from 1993

Wait, aren’t these the same guys that progressively cut spikes off of wheels to see when they would fail?

Ive unashamedly dons that.

I always thought it was snitches get stitches and bodies in ditches.

These are the one Jeep model that has to be modified to make it not look terrible. Once modified they start looking better.

Union construction and various engineers among others will probably be required for such a massive overhaul. I don’t believe changing over to electric Production is your standard retooling. Also retooling makes it sound far simpler than it is.

Get massive tax rebates and build a new plant of course. New plants are easier to automate as well.

He was a titan in the industry that had a sudden and extreme downfall. Along with that it seems like something new and crazy is added to the story all of the time. They would be insane not to cover it all.

Shit on the Cherokee all you want but as far as I know FCA is looking over their supplies and visiting suppliers to potentially idle more. Hell our ram truck line took an extended holiday shutdown and they constantly run behind FCA demand.

When it comes to the auto industry near is considered to be within about 1-2 hours drive. My company has a head quarters “near Detroit” which is 1.5 hours away.
