Jalopnik cross posted this like this is new news. That website did a very in depth article on this years ago.

Having gone through sub zero weather in southern Indiana with broken heat you will definitely hate yourself when you fix the issue. It will be easier than you think and less terrible to deal with. Also when my Jeep’s heat was broken overnight I put a heater in it. Dangerous-ish? Yes. Worth it? Again, yes.

It’s probably a shared voice to be honest. But I am 100% sure that that is the voice and many of the same sound bites from thunder.

NASCAR Thunder 2003. One of the most infuriating voices ever because he repeated the same stuff when you messed up.

It reminds me of NASCAR Thunder 2003.

Pfft no, he lives in Indy now I believe. He hasn’t been back to town in awhile.

It’s looking like that’s going to be what happens haha. My XJ isn’t as in as rough of shape as any of his stuff though. That’s why I don’t want to rush it.

I’ve caught the XJ bug and mine has a blown engine right now. My girlfriend will murder me if I don’t have a Jeep ready for the New Years Day Jeep ride with our group.

For the right price I would take Swiss cheese off of your hands. Wouldn’t be too bad of a road trip from Southern indiana.

Based on his political takes and leanings I think I would vote for him.

I own an old Jeep Cherokee, a Kia Forte,a Ford Taurus, and a GMC Sonoma(93). That being said, the Crosstrek was one of the single most disappointing cars I’ve ever driven. I love Subaru but couldn’t convince myself it was worth the payment to own one of those.

Well shit, now I want one of these. I had finally talked myself into the ridiculousness that is a chopper too damn it!

That describes a majority of auto upgrades ever haha

Haven’t there been arguments about things not following the spirit of the law? They may be technically legal but are deemed illegal due to it violating that(think Wyoming supercar registration). Going along those lines this doesn’t seem to be what the spirit of any contract with them would be.

I had the same thought until that line.

I still dream of one day giving the ICON treatment to the old Cherokees. I bought one and absolutely fell in love with that piece of shit. They are an amazing vehicle in an almost indescribable way. The XJ made me a Jeep person.

It looks like an up sized version of nearly every four seater side by side. Looking at it from that angle helps.

Check out the Smokingtire podcast when he was on there. It sounded gruesome.

Isn’t their biggest market the fairly niche markets?

There is a point to their derelict series. They are supposed to look old and left behind on the outside while being fairly modern on the inside.
