Have you ever tried to source rare parts? That is normally hard. Making tooling and having a new part created is very very hard.

I doubt they would go that route because it takes away from the idea of them as a whole.

For tooling to be worthwhile in many cases thousands of pieces must be made. Having just 50 made would almost make it where doing it by hand would be cheaper.

A car is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. That being said a large amount of people that will buy a car like this want to see records showing the car is worth their time and money. But you may think, “What if they keep the car and ignore this maintenance?” That’s asking for a whole world of trouble…

If I’m in the correct place in life at that point in life I would totally buy one. However I see myself more at the place where I’ll want the transit connect wagon hybrid that we’re not getting.
