One of the other witnesses was doxxed, fired from her job, and blacklisted.

I just want to say that the term conspiracy theory is used to describe something people think is crazy and outlandish, it is used to make some things seem like impossibilities and the people who say things seem like rambling paranoid loons.

When they turn on him it will happen in the blink of an eye. Then they’ll all act like they were against Trump from the beginning.

And yet if you asked white people to forgive the 9/11 hijackers, you'd get a much different response. I use that analogy as a litmus test.

This is why Green Book won the Academy Award.

And America’s obsession with watching traumatized black people take the higher road is borne of a culture that wants to abandon trauma, that seeks for a neat ending to the structural clusterfuck that forces black people to experience so much of it.

“Brandt Jean’s hug was not a political statement but a personal one, and it’s a distinction we need to make if we want to live in a world where his older brother is still alive.”

You’d think so, but in practice that’s not really the case. Plus there are plenty of other ways to keep employees at a firm besides legal coercion.

So what’s the plan? Do you think you’ll even remember her name in ten years? Unless you’re arguing an eye for an eye here, I’m not sure what good can come from a longer sentence. If you are arguing an eye for an eye, well, you’re wrong and you need to re-evaluate your moral framework outside of a book of simplistic

Wait, so now we are punishing people for having the maturity and ability to recognize they were wrong and doing something to fix it?! Honestly, it makes me like Warren more that she had the guts to realize she didn’t align with the republican party anymore and moved to the left. We need more self-reflection in this

You like her lame ass pandering to black voters late in the game?

I mean i agree the Dems sucked. I disagree that Mueller really wanted to nail trump.

No, I think it should stay in use. I think we should keep beating that particular dead horse until some player, somewhere, manages to earn a lifetime ban from the NFL for something other than kneeling for the anthem. I want to see the other behavior that makes every team in the NFL say “I don’t care if he’s got talent

If only all NFL owners had the moral fortitude to just not sign a headhunting sociopath, but let’s be real here. Not like he did something dangerous or distracting like, I dunno, refusing to stand for the national anthem.

Yeah but Watson just has the natural born ability to read a defense. That’s god-given.

Put Arian Foster in there too.

“THEY’RE TOASTING ALMONDS* NEXT DOOR!”

“DemocRATs hurt my arm!”

Let’s not forget also that the Roberts court just put gerrymandering above the law too. Once you’ve locked up the state legislature, you’re beyond any remedy in federal court, and you’re in position to shut down state court remedies as well.

I cannot tell you, as a Social Studies teacher, how excited I am to teach this.
