Eh you probably need to have more kids. Thanks for sharing, you’re the man.

Manual trans absolutely improves my attentiveness when driving. This became clear to me very quickly after I began daily driving one. I figured I’d get used to it to the point where that would go away, but 16 years later (driving nothing but manuals) there is no doubt in my mind, still helps and always will.

Driving manual in traffic helps pass the time. Doing it in one that is unpleasant or difficult can be a different story.

The “DO NOT TIP” painted so prominently on the box is some awfully heavy foreshadowing as well.

This post is one of those mobile phone wrecking balls. My iPhone struggles for 30 seconds trying to load it, dropping about 5% battery and getting white-hot before the article crashes. I guess Kinja really never will improve. I haven’t been able to log in and comment on articles from mobile for years, even between

Not sure if it’s the white wheels and seeing it in autocross setting or what, but this reminds me so much of a second generation MR2, and that’s good.

I’m disappointed that there was never an episode with Jason Torchinsky. Would have been among the best, seriously.

I suppose you’ve never shopped around for a used WRX. If this had low-ish miles, $15k could be in the correct ballpark. Without mileage listed, it is of course aut0-CP.

Definitely CP, but I have to take issue with everyone pointing out the engine bay filth. I don’t even drive on dirt roads and my WRX engine bay gets like that in around a year. Still, would have been easy to do a 10 minute wipe down.

I figured this was my problem, but no dice. Can’t get within 2 seconds of passing time on RDX level. Frustration station, will never buy Acura!

Good for Chrysler, but oh man you’d never catch me dead in one of these. And I’ve driven them plenty.

If you put a lot of miles on in a Sienna and still feel this way, fine.

Nah that looks pretty good.

It could be de-contented down to ~$30k without losing the engine and drivetrain. The fact the the WRX exists is proof. Carbon and aluminum aren’t entirely necessary for something so small with so much power.

Everyone is out to antagonize them, by default.

You find one single XLR owner who isn’t a boomer or older and then the comment can be dumb.

In a year or two, there will be e-bikes at Walmart for $300. Don’t you worry. I don’t know about 20 mile range, but there will be something.

The TourX looks amazing on the road. Turns my head when I see it, just a big autobahn blaster missile looking thing. I wouldn’t think much of that since I’m a wagon lover as it is, but several people I know who are not avowed wagon enthusiasts have mentioned that it looks impressive.

But this won’t have any of the most troublesome parts. D’ya think of that?!?

Man do I hope the people who worked on this set see this article. And maybe comment.
