I think the equivalent here would be some older white dude holding up Ann Coulter book. Nobody would care either way.

True - I’d say this “rail gun” is right on par with an AR recoil-wise.
I think the key feature of his design is how he disguised the little box that catches the spent .223 round as the on/off controls. I would have just blocked the gas tube.
It definitely has a lot of recoil when it’s actually just an AR-15 in a box.
I can’t be the only person who sees that this is BS, and that’s a regular rifle in a box.
Eh, WRX.
Yea I’d always read these fall apart with gusto.

He is shocked, shocked by the actual outcomes of his very deliberate actions. I would never in an eternity be able to believe that was an accident. Very deserving of prison time.
Actually the car driver should go to prison.
I would guess that the mustang had Florida plates on it. That would mostly explain what happened as well.
This would be nice - I do love auto start-stop. It would have been a dream feature on my 2010 TDI, which stalled like it was its job, especially in the first 5k miles or so. The clutch was just nasty before it broke in (I guess) and it took a while to get used to the awful stall limits. These cars have a very…
Right, they don’t look the same (didn’t say they did) but the design cues are there. That’s not saying much.
Hey, I'm not saying they look the same. But the design cues are there!
I’m a little biased since I have one, but it’s pretty striking how many cues the two share. Practically every design element of the concept is there in production.
Hitch is better than nothing, but I doubt it could ever help in any way.. Carrying bikes and kayaks crushes fuel economy no matter where they go - unless they’re inside!
I was going to say it looks like an old BMW X5, which is to say kinda nice. Though I hate all SUV’s.
