I have yet to see an estimate on how many companies will dump Crowdstrike as soon as they can. IT folks hold grudges, with reason, this won’t just pass by.

I’m in, in theory since these haven’t even flown yet, but not for $50k.

Someone mistakes the gas for the brake pedal 44 times a day in the US.  Just Sayin’.

“You can only incentivize EVs for so long”

5/3 = 1 2/3 = 1.666...

It’s damn silly but I’ve seen worse! I think its saving grace is the reduction in body work from the original body. It seems most of these kind of conversions just clads junk on top of junk. The rear is way more open than stock and the tire treads see daylight now. That openness might be the thing that’s helping us

The point of the article should be that cars are not an investment. They are, 99.99999% of the time, a depreciating asset. Kids, that means it loses value over time. An investment, it has the potential to increase in value and provide a return. You car ain’t that and if you find one that is, it is either very special

Time to stop abbreviating big dollar amounts. $56B? You mean $56,000,000,000? How about using the zeros to help emphasize the absurdity of it all. Like the $1,000,000,000,000 being the valuation of NVidia, Msoft, Apple, etc. That’s 1,000,000 x 1,000,000, btw. Maybe it’s time to start breaking people up. Right,

In the rear seat we once found magic in the rhythmic dance of power line shadows racing across our laps. Today, that enchanting ballet is replaced by the glow of handheld zombie-screens. Yet that silent waltz of light and shadow still continues outside the window, yearning to entertain and to become delight for the

They call auto racing a rich man’s “sport” for a reason. There will always be lower talent on the track at every race, in most every league. Pay to play. Sure, there are plenty of racing opportunities for normal folks, and some drivers do have origins in cobbled together race cars, but forget the idea that F1 drivers

I really appreciate these. And this is nice one in a lot of ways, but no way I’d ever own one.

1st Gear: That’s 56,000 x $1,000,000. “$56 Billion” is one thing, but seeing $56,000,000,000 is another. It’s time to stop saying “1 trillion dollar company” and just show “$1,000,000,000,000" - just to let the zeros’ absurdity of it all sink in. Especially when it’s about a person’s bonus, payout, salary, whatever.

Everything else on the road around me is in slow motion when I drive my car.

If flight attendants don’t get paid to stand there and welcome you with the door open, then they shouldn’t be there at all. If you are not doing your own person thing, you are on someone’s clock and deserve to be compensated.

I bet the police were bummed out that they couldn’t just try a PIT maneuver to on a bus (bc passengers).

I can smell that interior. When I see interior pics of an American car, that plastic off gassing smell takes over my thoughts. I know it’s not completely valid, but sure seems to be inherent to all American Made autos.

60 Minutes Australia did a piece with James Cameron. I recommend it to go with the Wired article.

I was going to say something similar about nuclear ships and subs. I thought this was interesting...

It’s not the “power” part of the powerlines that’s the problem, it’s the dismemberment that comes with wires and cables being snagged. Downed lines are so incredibly dangerous. As you can see by the utility pole snapping, the tensile strength is more than enough to decapitate a person. Even the smallest comm line can c

Would.  Even with that bloated Ford Fiesta front end. It’s like BMW scaled up the Fiesta and made it in the new BMW “design language” <- I use that term oh, so loosely.  What a travesty their design has become.  Let the boardroom and test groups go, man, trust your designers.
