How many millions have been made on Che Guevara or Mao t-shirts? How many of the people in arms about this have that t-shirt in their wardrobe?

NGL - Frosted Flakes has been my dinner more often than I’d like to admit this past year.

Who the hell buys cereal on Amazon?

Everyone has a chance at economic success, no matter their upbringing or background, if they just work hard enough. It’s almost certainly a lie we’ve been told for decades... A far off time before significant wealth concentration, the full effect of Reaganomics, venture capital, and stock buybacks.

Xenophobes would probably not know how to pronounce “sriracha” so it would trigger their “damn ferriners” lizard brains anyway.

“Sriracha” doesn’t exactly scream East/Southeast Asia to English speakers who aren’t already aware of it. The only “sri” most folks have any knowledge of might be “Sri Lanka” and I highly

That was always my main knock against it - it’s almost too flavorful. Good if you want something to taste like sriracha, not so much if you mostly want to add heat to something already flavorful.

It’s still “sriracha” - not exactly an Anglo condiment name.

[P]art of a larger shift away from the traditional bone-in chicken offerings

Give me that GMO goodness! I’d much rather have plants that have been very carefully modified with precise techniques than how they are traditionally cross-bred and modified.

Colchine (a mutagenic chemical) and radiation are common techniques for doing this sort of thing now and in the past - if you like Ruby Red

OK, I actually looked at the Yelp article and they call it “pan pizza” and asked Pequod’s about whether they actually qualify as deep dish, so imma have to talk to Dannis...

Dennis is well aware that Pequod’s is not deep dish, but deep pan.

“Permanent”. Calling Discontinued Foods guy!

Spiced cola with a fruit note? Dr. Pepper frowns. (At least it’s not prune, so he’s not frowning too much.)

Fronch

Munchos are my road trip guilty pleasure, so viva la France!

I hate self-checkout with a blinding passion (with the exception of less than 5 items, when it can be useful). That said, a lot of grocery stores are having a really hard time with staffing in general.

Go shopping at an Amazon Fresh store sometime. It’s literally Big Brother - the entire store has cameras every few feet watching you as you shop and keep track of what you selected and, importantly, what you didn’t.

Galbani is often available in loaf form at the deli counter as well (at least in Chicago). If you are making deep dish or “cheese under sauce” styles, just get it thinly sliced and you’re golden. Otherwise, have them hack off a block from the loaf and shred it at home.

If it was actually pure, anyone could make it by freezing distilled water.

My interest in what Greta Thunberg cares about is too small to measure.
