It kills me because I love Michael Shannon and Melissa McCarthy, but I just can’t. I can’t let myself get sucked into another one of Kelley’s projects that will only infuriate me in the end when it implodes spectacularly.

Can you imagine, if say, in the 1970s, the studios started calling for remakes of Citizen Kane (I’m not saying the Bodyguard is anywhere close, but go with me), Philadelphia Story, and ANY of the Humphrey Bogart classics?!! They would have been laughed out of the room.

I think the Whitney Houston character should be played by everyone in BTS and they all fall in love with their one bodyguard, Lindsay Lohan, whose English they can’t even understand because of her strange accent.

And IIIIIIIIII-EEE-IIIIIIIIIIII will never watch thiiiiiis!

Oh wow- I thought Masha had started to hallucinate and that’s why she saw Carmel as that guy. But you just blew my mind a little bit.

I’ve gotta say, I love that this article has so many big names in it, Krysten Ritter should be headlining instead of playing the best friend, so Krysten Ritter is in the fucking headline.

We know who shot Masha, it was Carmel, dressed like a dude. Or did I misunderstand something?

The access to a legion of drone corpses is a deduction the show asks you to make yourself, yes.

They literally said he’d recorded material for four episodes. I learned that on this website. I guess Sam will have to be surprised one more time.

The drones used a JARVIS network.
The drones were littered about everywhere after the battle for study.
Killmonger evidently only managed to wipe the murder of Stark footage.
Suri found the same footage that Stark did.
Suri was already suspicious due to Killmonger’s “2nd transmitter” comment.

Not to mention that this episode had to have been in production well before Boseman’s death, making it highly unlikely that T’Challa’s funeral is intentionally here to honor him in that way. It's just a sad coincidence. They said they had stories locked in for animation in like 2018/2019, and Bozeman recorded these

You’ve just had a signature David E. Kelley viewing experience: Take a vaguely promising premise and write it into the ground by episode 4. Finish the series hating yourself and wondering who continues to allow Kelley to write shows and why he hasn’t found an editor or writing partner capable of steering him away from

But that’s what it seemed like! Don’t make him explain this vague feeling he got!

Re Chadwick Boseman, I mean, they made it clear that he would pop up in several episodes before the season started. I was confused by that line in the review as well.

(Chadwick Boseman, popping up again even though Marvel made it seem like he would only be in that one episode)“

Did we all look like we were wearing bad disguises in the ‘90s?  I don’t feel like that was the case but it was a while ago so maybe I’m forgetting...?

Most of the cast looks like they’re wearing really bad disguises.

Oh, yeah, “Clive Owen as Bill Clinton” sounded like a great idea on paper. Having him wear a Bill Clinton Hallowe’en mask was a choice.

nah, first season was good, actually. probably the best acting aniston has ever done.

For all its faults, I really liked The Newsroom’s decision to take place a couple years in the past (and show them reacting to/dealing with real, then-contemporary events). I found it really easy to connect emotionally with the characters’ responses to events when they were real events I was familiar with. Made-up
