As a German myself I agree that the cars are bought by different types of people. But still, the AMG CLS in size, shape and somewhat price slots right in with the Panamera. And yes, the CLS is much more Geschäftswagen than the Panamera but bought more often privately than the regular E-class. So maybe tweaking it more

I’m hoping that means a proper restyling for it. The first one was gorgeous, the second one ages twice as a fast design wise.

Panamera Competitor on E-class basis? So literally a CLS?

I agree with the P4. It’s a tie with the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe for most elegant thing ever on four wheels.

And it looks like the LaFerrari could even win the whole thing. That’s what bothers me most - BridgeToGantry took a LaFerrari around the Ring in Traffic and recorded a time just over 7 minutes. What would happen if it’s driven in full Attack Mode like Porsche did with the 918?

Yep. The difference between GTE and GT3 has become really, really small though, with GT3 cars being the better choice for the ring. (Remember how Manthey brought out both cars in 2011?) GT4 is nothing compared to a modern GT beast.

Note to myself: drool all over it on Saturday.

True. But the biggest gain GT3 cars made are in corners. They didn't become lighter or more powerful, they just caught up to modern GTE in terms of cornering.

GT4 is legal again. They by far don't have the amount of downforce as recent GT3s.

Hahaha don’t worry, it took me three attempts to get the reference. That’s what makes it so great.

Boris Johnson’s “Trampoline to work” idea.

So sad that these were never sold in Europe.

Grosjean and Kimi ruined his championship. Grosjean in Spa, Kimi in Suzuka.

I really want to know what Mika said. He's one of the coolest guys, basically the prototype on which Kimi built up his image. His words must have been very carefully chosen and super effective.

And the great thing about that is that Mika wasn't a whiny, spoiled brat like some modern F1 drivers. So him complaining about someone really meant that he was very unhappy about other drivers.

It's the whole story that makes it even better. The whole Mika vs. Michael rivalry (and friendship), Ferrari vs. McLaren-Mercedes. Then the different setups of the cars: Michael's car went better through Eau Rouge so Mika could never quite catch him. He would always catch up by the end of the lap, but never close

Häkkinen vs. Schumacher in Spa 2000. Arguably the best pass in F1 ever.

It's their own design, built with the help of some independent engineering firm.

If they can afford Spacey and House of Cards, they'll be able to pay for Clarkson. Also, I read that Netflix received a boost in cash to produce more original programming.
