I imagine this is how you stepped away from your laptop after posting that comment:
That's awesome.
It's way too few.
Frankly I like the looks. I don't know why, but the frontend works for me.
I've seen two, and about 4 at the local dealers. My towns MB dealer are the nicest of them all and had no problem with 10-15 year old me spending hours in their finest vehicles.
Are you Jeff from the Hooniverse podcast? Anyhow, I really really like the concept of the R63, it's a luxury, V8, AWD Minivan with a Mercedes badge. What's not to like? And they dropped to ~29k Euros in Germany, which is super tempting.
I always wondered how the 6.2l V8 felt coupled to the 4matic system. I bet it's tons of fun.
Mercedes R63 AMG, about 330 were built according to this.

I'm not in any Porsche club - I'm 21 and a broke student, I'm a "few" years away from Porsche ownership (which sucks because the bargain 911, the 996 GT3, just started rising in price, and I totally wanted a slightly modified one).
I've been to one so far, and let's just say that usually Porsche guys are very... established and conservative. "Modification" is a word they don't know.
How many heart attacks would one cause with that car at a Porsche Club meeting?
Solution: 996 Hot Rod. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/npocp-ls1-swap…

It will be. Red Bull already stated that sponsoring him was out of question.
It's so bad that it became good again.
And of course Monsieur Loeb wasn't cruising around during the actual stages:
