911 Carrera

iPhone lenses? Like those zoom things people use?

Judging by the bodykit Audi is trying to break into the market of grown up ricers, people who want to relive their 90s Civic period but now have actual money.

It still looks fast and brutal, but not like a bloody caricature of a midship supercar (I'm looking at you, Veneno!)

Right! That's why I hate the new lambos. So many necessary edges around the car. Every Lambo before the Aventador managed to capture at least a bit of elegance while looking very hulking and aggressive. Like the early Miura or Countach.

Thank god, I thought I was the only one to prefer the original to the 640.

That is a really good photo. Well done.

Modified? I don't think we are talking about a LS swap, are we?

Not true. I mean yes, the Mercedes engine is superior, but take a look at the sector times in China. Red Bull lost time in every sector, even Sector 1 and 2 with the high to medium speed turns. And RB ran like a shitload of angle on their wings, proven by the fact that they were 20kph of pace on the long straight

What a musician. I consider him one of the best of his time.

If seen from the front 3/4, than the GX 460 looks like a bloody cartoon caricature of a modern Lexus SUV. It only needs bigger wheels and the illusion would be perfect.

VLN Race 3

To be fair, at first sight the Mercedes Benz Motorsport activities before 2012 seemed to not be very well planned or not really set to run long term on the first sight. Only the background reveals the reasoning behind it.

I disagree. Pulling out after 1955 was right, considering that they caused motorsports most fatal accident ever. And that 10 years after the war. Everyone in that position would have done the same, and they already proved their engineering capability in 54.

I am not talking about build quality; I heard that it is quite decent. All I was referring to was the design itself, and that can clearly be judged by pictures.

I didn't think about the options if I'm honest. Then you are surely right that the Infiniti comes far more loaded at the starting price than the Mercedes.

So it will be visually different in person?

Did you maybe notice that I was referring to the looks of the cabin? Apparently not. Talk about silly judgments. As for the rest, you might find a comment I made in this exact thread helpful. And yeah, I didn't sit in any Infiniti so far, you can find the reason in the link.

If they name Cadillac and Lexus as opponents in their relevant market, wouldn't the big 3 Germans also count as worthy and comparable alternatives as they serve the same kind of market and customers?
