The good thing about the Alice’s of the world is now at least we can tell who has ever read a comic book in their life and who hasn’t.

GRRM clearly has enough money so that he doesn’t have to work anymore. Not quite as clearly (but still pretty clearly) finishing ASOIAF is just work to him at this point. I’m sure on some level, he does want to get the series finished, but he’s lost his muse and the frustration has overtaken the joy in writing those…
Yeah, I’ve already read this story done right...
Robot? It’s a human in a suit.
This is exactly what caused me to stop reading Sonic The Hedgehog a few months back. I had to get into Mega Man AND Sonic Boom to even know WTF was going on, so I just up and quit.
And how long until we run out of Helium on this planet? Will there be the great Helium wars of the 2080's?
I think Samuel Jackson is a bit overrated. His part in The Matrix was certainly bloated and cliche. I wish he’d go back to CSI, though. I enjoyed his time there.
You know what? NO. As an adult, Xmas presents mostly suck. As an adult, Thanksgiving kind of sucks because you can’t pig out anymore without guilt (and maybe also heartburn and what have you). There is a critical mistake that a lot of genre fiction makes that the entry doesn’t dispel which is the timing of Templars’ creation. Contrary to what some prominent Tom Hanks films would have you believe, the Templars did not lead the First Crusade. They were created after the founding of the Kingdom of Jerusalem…
I want to tattoo this whole image on my back, then fall to my death in an ice chasm to be uncovered in 3,000 years.
Eh, anyone could’ve guessed that Gaiman would be slow with Sandman: Overture. He just doesn’t churn them out as quickly as he used to.
Why don’t you just say you only came on to bash it for not being politically correct? hello? They had a spin-off series “The Girl from UNCLE which the other shows you cite never had. If you are not old enough to have watched it first or second run then you have no clue because you have been tainted by the PC bug.
“... communicators, hidden as cigarette cases and pens.”
Ready Player One. Great.
I thought the answer to that was “because our planet has an atmosphere.”
