You are the one breaking the law, so I think I am in the right here while you defend your ridiculous speeding habit that does endanger others (no matter how F1 cool you think you are).”

I do adhere to them as I would any law there to keep people safe. Which is to say, if ignore it completely and substitute my own judgement.

That’s precisely what I am dong. 90 mph is an entirely reasonable speed, I do it everyday twice a day at a minimum.

Yeah I don’t agree with that. It is not a victimless crime. I just don’t think the posted speed limits are not set based upon the design speed on high ways. In a residential neighborhood where someone could step out in front of your car that is a completely different story.  Or in heavy traffic or in the rain or in

Every person who ever goes even 1 mph faster than the posted speed limit is a criminal.

C&I Driving is their analog. Which is a misdemeanor.

Driving 20-25 over the speed limit in Missouri is not Reckless Driving. Missouri has no such statute. Missouri merely requires one to “drive at a rate of speed so as not to endanger the person or property of another”.  Which brings me back to my original point. Whether or not she was endangering the person or property

Yeah, so I don’t live in a place with one local police department. There are probably close to 100 of them and you still need to be going at least 20 over for them to even bother to pull you over. Even the municipalities renowned for speed traps don’t bother, there’s always someone going faster than 20+ to pull over.

I knew what you meant. At least where I live, you have to be doing 20-25 over just to get pulled over in the first place. Even then you’d probably just get a warning.

Actually, no, it’s completely and utterly reckless. Our highway system was inspired by the German highway system but it’s not constructed the same way.

But like didn’t they get back together after the domestic violence? so doesn’t that reinstate him as a salty-ex rather than a stalker? I don’t know what the protocol is here.

Well with that impeccable logic I guess I’m pursuaded.

Now playing

Whether or not her driving was reckless largely depends on the conditions. I certainly have driven close to that speed for the duration of road trips routinely and she was out in the middle of nowhere. Our highway system is actually designed for speeds significantly in excess of the posted limits.

Well my dad used to say that when l was growing up but Indiana Utah and Oklahoma have them.

Well that was sort of the double meaning of the comment.

Anyone who knows anything about St. Louis will tell you that Ferguson is one of the least racists parts of it...

So... that’s not how public companies work. Musk has a fiduciary obligation to go around saying the company will soon be insolvent. Lehman Brothers, AIG, Bear Sterns?  Do you remember nothing, those companies were actually insolvent and their CEO’s still din’t say they were.  Why?  Because making such an announcement

P.S. I just figured out you were referring to statement that women are oppressed by the dictates of their religion as concern trolling.

...wait...what?... aren’t you the person who just said “If you can’t stomach that, you’re advocating for either ideology-based fascism or genocide.” which one of us is throwing nazis at the problem.
