I would probably drop a class if the professor didn't mention Bowie today.

We were lucky to have so many Bowies.

It's like he poured all of his remaining life into that album.

Tin Machine is criminally underrated.

Do you use your pointy nipples as telescopic antennae
To transmit data back to Earth?
I betcha do, you freaky old bastard you

We must all find the Bowie within, now.

Every musician I've ever known has been a huge fan. Like, a "will get into a fistfight when discussing Aladdin Sane vs the Berlin trilogy" fan.

Well, I think he should still do it.

How do you even do this? How do you release one of the best albums of your life, knowing that it's your final album, knowing it's your parting gift, and then die three days later? Who the fuck could do that except Bowie? Fucking best rockstar ever.

And, that makes him even cooler than he already was.

I saw the Glass Spiders tour…I don't think that was one of his best eras.

Scary Monsters with Trent is probably one of my top five concert moments.

It is the perfect goodbye. He gave us that.

It's unreal.

His voice sounds incredible on Blackstar. What an album to leave us with.

Or the Who?

I think it would have been one of my favorite Bowie albums no matter what. But in context, I don't even know what to think of it, except that it's a brilliant way to go out.

Hearing about this and listening to his last album is really inspiring me to record today.

I should have called in sick. This is the only thing that matters today.

It sounds almost as bad as Under the Dome, but not as much fun.
