I mentioned this in another comment but this is seriously the American culture in a nutshell. The general consensus is “don’t try anything unless it’s perfect else your reputation goes to shit.”

I remember people who also predicted with confidence that SpaceX would fail because their early rockets were exploding, missing their landing sites, or sometimes both. Tesla would fail because of the embarrassment of the Top Gear segment or because early recharging infrastructure was sparse. Well, here we go again. Tha

I too am glad someone is finally trying motorized vehicles on underground tracks. A sort of subterranean way of doing things. Why didn’t anyone think of this before?

This isn’t beta software on a smartphone.  It’s an engineering project that is only partially complete.

Specs do matter, that’s why those excuses Apple made didn’t prevent them from dropping to 3rd place, with Huawei overtaking them as 2nd largest smartphone maker in the world market last year.

There are just shy of 700k people in DC. The power grid, however, serves more than a typical city of 700k people, because another million or so people commute into the city for work.

I’ve made my money back in a roundabout way. I am on Google Fi and since I’m almost always on Wi-Fi, my cell phone bill has been under $50 /mo, coverage is great and I’m paying $80 less than Att and Verizon when they get you on the Next plan. Had to upgrade due to a broken phone old model but 5 months in and I’ve

yeah I tried one and enjoyed it.  However my economic bracket and usage of my phone dictates that I don’t have any sort of legitimate reasoning to buy a new phone.  Heck, my wife’s galaxy s7 had a cracked screen a couple months ago, and since we have a protection plan on it, they just gave us an s9 as a replacement.

I’m switching over to the Pixel 3 next week from an iPhone X.

Pixel 3 is the best phone I’ve owned by far.  Having Google Fi for international travel is a god send, and being first in line for updates is so much better than waiting months for Samsung.  The camera is excellent, call screening is great.  The performance and form factor of the 3 are ideal.  Apple doesn’t exist for

Same here. Although, I disagree that the original Pixel was ugly. I liked it except for the massive back glass flaw.

Yeah I’ve felt the same way about it, I can’t really complain too much about the phone and it works great but I’d either like a little nicer hardware for the price or just a lower price. Feels even worse with the heavy discounts Google put on the Pixel 3 line since launch, if they’re able to offer $150 or higher

Lol commenting on state politics when the issue is federal taxes

People with a household income of $79k are doing just fine.. that puts them above the median household income in the US. Let’s talk about those who are making less than the median.

How does Nickelback get more shit than Maroon 5? Maroon 5 is twice as bad. That jagoff prancing around squealing about Jagger deserves a punch where his nads should be.

This is why I buy all of my tin foil with cash.

of all the reasons to be afraid in this world, governments banning cash is like.... number 10 million on the list.

Most of the recycle items will be send to garbage anyway. Recycling factory on recycle items that has a value a.k.a that makes them money otherwise they just send them to garbage and not recycle. Wake up people!

We have 3 curbside bins here (soon to be 4)

I can confirm from the east coast of Canada as well, that composting is some times a municipal service in many areas. In the spring it serves as an in-expensive fertilizer.
