“Alexandria Villasenor doesn’t remember a world without climate change.” To be fair, if you are talking about man-made climate change, none of us remember a world without it. We’ve been fucking up this planet for thousands of years.

Knowing nothing about these things, this might be a dumb question, but in cases of colliders like this, is bigger typically better? Couldn’t do some other design or does it have to be an ever increasing circle?

Water vapor molecules are smaller than liquid water molecules, therefore, water vapor can escape while liquid water cannot enter.

Welcome to 1999, where 90% of Geocities sites had this gif.

Fair points, well taken.

Fair point and based on that, I do think there has to be a tangible benefit to what they are doing, but I still think it’s ok to fail at something. I hope they learned their lesson and moved on. Also, I’m certainly not a libertarian, nor am I a republican for what it’s worth, but thanks for making generalizations.

Last time I checked, Tesla and the Boring company are two separate entities, but, nice try.

Why do you care so much whether or not the R&D a private company is doing works or not? Did you personally invest in this project? I don’t get all the hate. I’m not buying the bullshit. I’m admitting that this is underwhelming. I’m also saying that I commend them for trying to think outside the box, even if it didn’t

Agreed, I don’t know why people are being so negative. Let them try things. Not everything will be a success, but at least they are trying.

Why is this a problem for you though. He’s not using taxpayer money. Let them do what they want, and who knows, they’ll learn something new. Yes, many entrepreneurial ideas fail, but there are always key learnings. What’s the harm in trying? People need to chill out.

I know you are being sarcastic, but obviously the intent here was not to re-create the subway.

I know it’s very underwhelming as it stands, and who knows if it has potential, but you have to give them some credit for trying. No one else is out there trying new things. I’d rather see them try and fail, then not try at all.

Is the Capitol Power Plant covered by this as well?

How is the population density compared to other cities?

It’s weird we are having this argument about specs. Whenever people complained about Apple’s hardware specs being bad, the defense was that specs don’t matter as long as software is good. Do I really need 6GB or RAM?

I know these don’t work on all vehicles, but they have been a lifesaver for me. I used to have a lead/acid battery jump starter I kept in my car. It sucked. It was big, heavy and required routine maintainance to keep the battery charged appropriately. These Li-Ion are exactly the same as any other power pack. They

I received the PSVR as a gift and while it’s a fun experience, the novelty wears out quickly. Resident Evil was a really cool experience in VR, but I found myself playing 90% of the game without the VR. The technology is just too bulky and annoying to deal with at the moment and I can’t play for more than an hour

Yep, it’s a small container that doesn’t hold much and eventually has to be dumped on a larger pile. Again, my point stands.

Yeah, I do agree that single stream recycling is the easiest, and therefore most effective, for most people because you want to limit the decision making people have to do (and the amount of separate bins they have to keep/maintain). Additionally, depending on the local recycling facility, they may, or may not have
