My brother is actually doing doctorate work on bubbles, conscribing the shapes given certain presets, bubbles within bubbles, square like bubbles, etc. I thought it was utter nonsense pretend math, then he showed me several practical applications for the math in engineering and computer programming that could be

Yes, I am sure you are right, if you ask anyone in the movement what it is about, that is what they would say.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with being rich, I want to be rich one day. And good for you if you can afford such opulence. The 99% movement is about making sure you don't step on the little guy on your way to riches.

Correction: Balancing is easier if you are tall AND you have a center of gravity in the middle, not the top. Although you can balance and you do have time to correct on these bikes, but you are guarenteed to fall with a smaller angle of error. Since your center of gravity is so high, you are crashing because of a 10

I wonder if I was just preconditioned to see more than what was really there, but the last image for each one is really just very sad.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Thank you Amaya57, you get 4 brownie points!

I miss Samurai Jack too, like a lot. I just loved the artistic style, and the story was fun too.

Just because there is a three step solution to every single comic does not mean that this is good design. It is indeed worse than before. The complaint is not that it is impossible to read, merely difficult. A moron can understand that from Kathartik's comment, and yet you did not...

This is the best possible reason for a remake, the source material is wonderful, and the movie it is replacing is utter crap. Don't ask why it is being remade, ask why it did not happen sooner.

Of course consoles have obsolescence, but Joe consumer does not have to worry if a console game will work on his console, it simplifies things. Also, my brand spanking new computer (albeit a cheap one) cannot play Crysis. There is something to be said for purpose built machines. I also have a kindle for reading

Seat Belt Releases while over a volcano? I want to hear the story behind that one, and a lot of these, cool stuff.

The one thing consoles have going for them, if I buy an xbox game, my xbox will play that game. If I buy a PC game, I have to upgrade my graphics card every year or so just to play the newest game.

What I find fascinating is the level of interaction the science had with the show. For example when they were introducing the letter of the day, the experimented with where to place the letter on the screen and how the character should interact with it. Then they had kids watch the show and tested their memory

I am an English teacher, so I have read a few of these and others from this time period. They are freak'n annoying to read. There has been language shift, and more importantly, cultural shift that makes reading these books a real chore. But if you are up to the challenge, there are some real jems out there.

So um, they don't expect banks to be able to follow a money trail and take the money back Anonopoison gave to charity? I would expect a bank to be very good at that.

Pictures under glass is already the default interface for the well to do set in America. Knobs will stay around just because it is always going to be a cheaper option.

No matter what she says, I think she knew what she was doing. I mean she was in a museum cleaning off paint from an object in the center of the room. I think she did it because she is not a fan of modern art.

Who is the xman on the far right?

I am surprised that all of these nearly empty cities don't have a major problem with squatters. How easy would it be for the homeless to just move in? And sure there are access problems, but you would think that it would be worth it to live in a sumptuous apartment rent free? And because there are hardly any people

Basically this system uses lots and lots of data to determine a best guess as to what normal is, so they can detect when someone is acting suspicious and or lying. I wonder how many office romances this will uncover.
