That is a good point. Im lucky that I work from home right now so I will be around to do stuff with the puppy throughout the day. I also bought a book about puppy training (nerd alert!) But, I think that attending a course would be a good idea.

I feel you. It is hard to move to a new place and make friends. I thought grad school would help with that. Unfortunately, it has not.

Make sure you still take time to do things by yourself or with friends. I love my bf and spending time with him but it is nice to have some time apart so that we have funny stories and random stuff to talk to each other about.

I have been wanting to get a dog for quite a while. I finally got my bf on board but still needed to talk to the landlord. I finally did this week and he was not only okay with the idea he seemed genuinely excited. which was a huge surprise! Now I am busy scoping out the local shelters and waiting to find that one…
