I played a few hours of it, but what made me drop it was the enemies. The shape shifters were great. The humanoid ones freaked me out. And then... a bigger same one, a lightning same one, a fire same one... same...same...same. It got repetitive shooting the same thing all over. Pity.
Sci-fi Horror Masterpiece is exactly the right way to describe Prey. My favorite Arkane game and probably the closest we are gonna get in the near future to what a true sequel to System Shock 2 would be like.
I don’t care who wrote it or what point it was supposed to make, but the ending of A.I. was insane nonsense that arguably ruined what was, up to that point, a masterpiece of a movie. It should have ended with a fade to black with David staring at the face of the Blue Fairy at the bottom of the ocean forever.

See thing is for me it is free time, I like the game a lot but tbh I just like to feel in games my time is productive and when i hear people fighting against the same boss for hours I do envy them who can spend that amount of time.

there’s a whole community of people that do this. they only disembark for minimal time when there’s a refit or deep cleaning. Or they spread across a few ships over the course of a year. When you buy in bulk, there are additional discounts plus the rewards deals they rack up. It’s cheaper than a long term care…
