I'm reluctant to click on that link, as I work in a very open cubicle, but if that's the video I think it is, I can't believe you don't have more likes, sir.

More Disney movies deserving the Oscar: Dumbo and Fantasia. But man, we part company at Tarzan. Beauty and the Beast is way better than that subpar Phil Collins musical.

Wait, do you not like any of those movies? Not Bridge on the River Kwai, not The Searchers, not Invasion of the Body Snatchers?

Agreed. That's a movie that I enjoy watching over and over again. Criterion Collection would do well to give it a blu-ray release.

I actually agree with you. I vividly remember that I watched Clockers but can't recall one single thing about it. And yet, not having seen LA Confidential or Memento in years, I still remember vast swaths of those films. That must mean something.

My friend loves White way more than the other two. I do find them hard to rank, myself, but Red's ending usually sways me (although it wouldn't be nearly as powerful without the first two.)

I don't think anyone involved in that production would ever tell you to take it completely seriously and literally.

I've seen ten from today's list and ten from yesterday's. Shamefully, I own about five more that I haven't watched yet. Maybe this list will shame me into doing that.

I think the description in this article is pretty accurate - the movie is considered in many corners today to be a masterpiece (rightfully, I think), even though it got mixed reviews when it first came out.

Seeing all three of the films back to back at Lincoln Center in one afternoon is a highlight of my moviegoing experience. On the big screen, with a packed house, in one breathless rush. The end of Red becomes unbearably emotional, seeing them that way.
