I spent my childhood summers picking acres of field peas, butterbeans, corn, tomatoes, watermelon, okra, etc. I’m NEVER GOING TO PLANT A GARDEN IN THIS SOUTHERN HEAT! (I just said that in a Scarlett O’Hara accent, raising a fist to the sky!)

It’s a bad take because it’s TomatoFace.
Pretty sure this guy is trolling from his responses, i.e. “vegan-shaming” and calling people who are not wanting to take every gun in the country Trump supporters, full stop.
Every weapon is semi-automatic save for cannons and muskets.
“But how many of those deaths are gang related, family in-fighting or something like that?”
Well if your goal is to stop gun violence, hand guns would be the first to go. They account for most of the murders. If you are just worried about not hearing about gun violence, you should ban large magazine semi-automatic rifles because they make the news.
I understand the point, however there are a lot of factors that are neither explained or discussed involving the politics of the region. Look, I don’t like Trump’s approach to foreign policy, if it could be called such. However, my complaint with the article is that the link between these two is tenuous at best.
I am all for blaming Trump for the problems that he has caused. However, blaming him for the insecurity in Nigeria and an attack by a Terrorist group in that country is a little far fetched. While the US has helped with combating Terrorist organizations the blame for those attacks lies straight at the feet of its…
This is juuuuuust perfectly riding that line between believable and parody. Honestly, you had me start to write a serious reply...its really nicely executed.
Pretty much, yeah.
I’ve had waitresses leave their number on my check before, when I was first out of college and they were about the same age, so there are definitely times when the waitress may be open to a considerate approach. But to your point, it is pretty easy to tell the difference between a waitress or bartender who is actually…
This dude missed a golden opportunity. I find a spy camera on my property...I’m putting on a show.
Presumably the employees didn’t come up with the idea for the meal either - they put something together after being instructed to come up with something for black history month. Sounds to me like a couple of line-level workers were made scapegoats here for someone else’s questionable idea.
Watermelon and fried chicken are delicious.
Correction: Journalists Publishers have become less interested in the truth than they are in fucking clicks and ratings.
Honestly, it’s one of the most critical issues of our time is how deliberately dumbed down the mainstream journalistic media has become. It isn’t talked about nearly enough, for my money.
Are these the hard questions? This is theater. There has been a lot of great writing from policy or policy-adjacent people this week, but distraught teens yelling, “NO MORE GUNS, PUPPET,” at Rubio is just fodder for Outrage Twitter and The A.V. Club (but I repeat myself).
Isn’t the point here that there are existing regulations banning the use of downer cattle and the like but it’s showing up anyway?
California Governor Ronald Reagan fought for gun control legislation after another group of black men called “Black Panthers” marched on California’s Capitol carrying shotguns. California’s Mulford Act eventually became the blueprint for the Gun Control Act of 1968, the law banning felons from owning firearms and…
Before one begins any discussion about the gun debate, it is necessary to dismiss the slow-thinking zealots from the…
