Wow!  Only in America would someone make that argument!

Neutral:  Don’t have a clue why anyone would be interested in any Subaru offered in North America.  They simply don’t work for me.

I don’t know, a 15 year old car for 20,000.  That has never seemed like a bargain to me.   Now if that 15 year old car went for 2000, perhaps I’d consider it.

I don’t mind the mileage; what I don’t like is the AMG engine which will cost many arms and legs to maintain.

The lawsuit against Tesla is the most obvious class action law-suit I’ve ever seen.  If I had bought a Tesla with such advertised features I’d most certainly be fully onboard with this lawsuit.  FSD has and always will be a scam.

The cars too start on are ones that have availability of parts and lots of on-line tutorials.  As a Ford guy I would look at 80's Fox body cars, but there are tons of cars from other manufacturers that are also relatively easy to find parts and tutorials for.  Those are the ones to start with.  Hence in my case an 87

I have a plug-in hybrid from a generation earlier 2019 Fusion.  One of the features I love is the smoothness of the transition between drive modes.  I can also keep it in all electric mode quite easily below 70 mph provided I don’t have to drive too far.  Even after the battery is depleted the hybrid drive system is

My dad’s was blue and the steering wheel was at the proper side of the vehicle for driving in continental Europe.  This is the one car I wished dad had kept for the long run even if it did need more repairs than the German built Taunuses he had tons of after this Corsair.

Actually I’m not in on this truck in any way at all; hence I lied in my No Dice answer.

I suspect the article didn’t cover that there would be restrictions on their ability to do so pending contractual language. For instance the contract could state that the power company would never be able to take more than 20 % of a full charge and never take the truck below 30 % of a full charge at any time.

Don’t forget about NIMBYism that makes new energy programs or projects almost impossible to get approved anywhere in the world, except in authoritarian countries.

Never mind that GM had been eying downsizing the number of dealers for these brands for a few years now; they’ve found their way to do it.

Don’t forget that even Stellantis’s North American arm is getting into full electrics now and very few companies will need to be buying credits soon.  Also with so many companies starting to build electric cars there will be more willing to sell credits in those jurisdictions which still keep a credit system.  Tesla

Wow you missed out.  The old slogan at Jalopnik was that Miata is always the answer.

Same with my Tercel S which was the cheapest version of the Tercel. It was only sold in that version so that in the ads Toyota could do the famous starting at $**** thing.  It was so cheap that the first dealer didn’t even have it sitting on the dealership lot but was hidden in their compound in a cheaper real estate

Please note that the use of sport in the naming of any SUV is entirely unnecessary since all SUV’s are by definition Sport Utility Vehicles. What’s even more amazing is that no one outside of the USA considers the “Sport” in Sport Utility Vehicle to be sporting in any sense of the word. It is only sporting if hunting

This is another one where I went straight to voting after seeing the headline and the picture.  There was no need to read the article to know that I didn’t want anything to do with this vehicle even at half the price.  Reading the entire article only confirmed my first impressions.

there is a huge one on the South side of Edmonton, right along the gateway trail into the city.  Most large cities only have one Ikea, or perhaps 2 pending on the size of the city and the market for Ikea products.

A lot of people shop at Ikea even if they are not interested in new furniture today.

Thanks for a laugh!
