You said it yourself; 60 percent of Americans would be happy with this. It is not meant for the other 40.

I so wanted to say Nice Price, but that price is insane. I want a Pinto, but I certainly don’t want to pay that much for one with these miles. Insane!
So true. My least favorite aspect of the car is trunk space or lack of trunk space.
I also have the Fusion Energi and love it, but if I could get double the range, I’d love it even more.
You’d plug in at home obviously. That’s what needs to happen for more people to want these.
Calling this science is the reason that so many people distrust science. This was a particular study that answered a particular question. It has nothing to do with range anxiety.
Sounds like third world issues in your neck of the woods. I’ve never experienced these problems.
I’ve never been skimmed. Once would be a horrible experience for me leaving me shy about using credit cards.
People who are starting to look for new technology but don’t want the hassle of finding charging stations will go to hybrids or Plug-in Hybrids. I did.
Since I don’t currently and likely never will own an Apple product, I won’t be using Apple Pay anytime soon.
I can fill up at any gas station by swiping or tapping my credit card. Why did all the EV charging stations skip that convenient application?
So much for going all electric. They are some of the heaviest vehicles around.
Absolutely. My savings are more like 80 to 150 per month.
Fully agree. I had my mind set on getting a hybrid for my next vehicle when a deer totaled my car. Due to the horrendous used vehicle market my best deal was on a plug-in hybrid with only a 1000 miles. Now enjoying the electric drive, I’d definitely consider a BEV as my next vehicle.
If people don’t plug in their plug-ins, then what makes them good candidates for all BEVs. If you don’t plug in your plug-in hybrid then you are an idiot wasting your money.
Have you ever lived outside of a major metropolitan area. These cruisers are the most comfortable way to get around on rural highways and by-ways. Take a look at the popularity of pickup trucks and then add a third row with just as much room as the second row and you know why some people lust after them.
My total electrical bill is somewhere in the 100 to 120 range. That’s two fill-ups of gasoline. And I use electricity for nearly everything in the home besides plugging in my car for over 7 hours each day. There is something totally wrong with this article.
“Look at Me;” I’m completely revolting and will cause vomiting as a reaction.
I like the option of the Lincoln Continental, but none of the selections are downsized from his previous vehicle. Perhaps a Lincoln MKZ hybrid might do the trick or a plug-in hybrid Corsair.
Of course the two places aren’t comparable. but 22 miles would be quite doable if you could leave your bike at one place and then take a tram to your place of work. This isn’t going to happen anytime soon in your location.
