Actually in a lot of places the wind does die down significantly after the sun goes down.

Yes, but the rest of North America isn’t Southern California and won’t be like it for quite some time.  What others have said about multi-vehicle families is currently correct.  If your family has more than one vehicle an electric vehicle would be ideal as one of them.

Only if you can find a decent one.

Yes, in his mind God shouldn’t get praised for creating the world but he himself should since he made it “better” or “great again.”  Any reference to a higher power anywhere should be a reference to how DJT made things greater again.

Love the car; don’t love the price.

If Toyota focuses on competing with the Model 3 then EVs for the masses are doomed.  Fortunately from the description it does not appear to be another Model 3.

If this soldier is going to be putting on a lot of miles, then a hybrid of sorts should be his top priority.  My understanding is that the military doesn’t pay too terribly well.   There are both Elantra and Sonata hybrids available that are also quite fun.  If you need a more family friendly choice then there are

Didn’t have to read the article to know that there is no way at all that I would see this BMW as my winter car.  It might be worth the price, but not as a car I need to rely on to get to work every day.

Perhaps Tesla could build 30 million cars per year, but it would require them to build desirable cars for the masses for them to be able to actually sell those.  Currently they don’t build a single car that I would consider buying.  I suspect that this is true for many other people as well.

A beater that is worth buying at either a thousand or five thousand is one that doesn’t require a lot of attention to drive today, tomorrow and every day.  In other words a beater worth buying is one that even I could maintain and that would get me to where I need to go every single day.  By definition that excludes

Didn’t have to read the article to instantly vote No Dice.  Having read the article I can’t see why there’s even 3 % of people who honestly believe this to be a nice price.

You are blind as a robot turd.

No, they’re not on par with Tesla yet as electric vehicles; but in every other sense they are way ahead of Tesla as vehicles.  They are more comfortable, more luxurious, way better built, and excel in a number of other areas as well.  Tesla needs to up its game or there is no reason in the world anyone would ever buy

Just a comment about “upcycled leather.” “Upcycled leather is made from animals that die from natural causes. It may also be made with the skins that the meat industry discards.”  This definition includes nearly all leather ever made since most leather comes from discarded hides from the meat industry.  Where else

Au contraire; their styling is among the best in the business.  If only Tesla would start hiring some of their stylists.

He apologized to Tesla?  I’d say Tesla and Musk should apologize to him and all those who have paid extra for a “full self driving” mode.

If you’re not recommending at least a hybrid, you’re not paying attention to his desire for better fuel economy.  The only thing is where do you find both size and economy.  Perhaps he is looking at a F150 Hybrid, certainly fits the size category and has reasonably good fuel economy, at least compared to his SUV.

Sorry?  This is cool? It might be to its creator, but to any car fans, this is ridiculous.

I didn’t even have to read this article, but I will.   There’s no way this ugly duckling would ever be worth that price, even if it were in pristine condition.

You are the King of the Hill.
