All yours!

Too bad that Torch is no longer part of Jalopnik. We could get an article covering each item in the collection per day for the rest of his extended life.

In Canada we only got this as the Dodge D50.  Nice Price!

Actually all full sized pickups scream “America,” especially the raised three quarter tons etc.

Per car is true, but overall amount Tesla spends much less on research than the major automakers. Hence the major automakers should surpass Tesla if they focus their research properly, and that is a huge, probably insurmountable, if.

I’ve been going 3 weeks on one tank of gas in my plug-in-hybrid which I use to commute 60+ km/day to work and back. I have about 1650 km’s on this tank and I can fill it with about 11 US gallons.  I’d never go back to an all gasoline car, while I still don’t think a Battery Electric Vehicle will work for my

Do you really think that Tesla spends more on research and development than traditional automakers?  I don’t believe it for one moment.

If they want a cross country tourer then in my view that automatically eliminates Electrics.  Someone that doesn’t like tech is not going to want to look for  charging stations everywhere along the way.  Get a Lincoln Aviator.

If only Toyota kept their cars up to date like Hyundai.   The Elantra is a much more impressive car than the Corolla.

A lot of their current customers use a different infrastructure than the current mass market.  Truckers tend to use dedicated truck stops, and it would be fairly easy to bring hydrogen supplies to those.  Farmers get their fuel delivered and once again hydrogen would be deliverable.  I’m not sure this is the way that

Couldn’t care less about these people/protesters/constitutional democrats/whatever.

I don’t get the logic of this at all.  Currently the Sonata is available as a hybrid; it could well have a plug-in-hybrid version next year.   This would be a great transitional vehicle to an all electric sedan later.

The doors turned this into a No Dice or no deal for me.

Thanks for a great review.

I’d rather overpay for a Mazda MX30 or whatever their electric vehicle is called.

All Subarus.

Anyone who compliments a driver on avoiding a squirrel by driving in the opposite lane deserves to have their Jalopnik cred. taken from them.  A dog, a deer, but a squirrel?  You’re going to wreck a brand new car and possibly end up killing people over a squirrel?  And this in a blog about driver’s ed?

I’m telling everyone now:  BMW hasn’t had a chief designer worth his/her salt since Chris Bangle was bangled.  They need someone like him once again.  For that matter Mercedes Benz could use one as well as the designers at Genesis are not just beating the Germans at their game, but they have caused most of us to

I’d love to see the name Thunderbird return.  I can only begin to imagine what wonderful new type of electric behemoth would do justice to this name.

It used to be that you could get a running car for under 5000, now you can’t even get a car that doesn’t run for 6000.
