Someone should get right on that: a drive through school drop off and pickup lane. It shouldn’t be that hard to do and won’t someone think of the children.

These warnings really won’t affect people’s use of their cars in any way. It might be a bit difference if the government forced manufacturers to display this warning every time someone started up their car. On the complaint, he’s right about big city politicians not understanding anything about people who live away…
Trading cars in with 60 000 miles? You really haven’t shopped for gently used cars much have you. My last three cars were gently used cars. I bought my 03 Focus near the end of 04 with just under 40 000 km’s (about 24 000 miles) and my 13 Escape in 15 with just 27 000 km’s (around 16 000 miles). My current…
Yes, and the article messed up on the displacement citing 2.6 as the four was 2.5 and the V6 was 2.8. That four was more useful as a boat anchor than car engine.
The only things I like about this Quicksilver are the chrome front and rear bumpers. Bring back the metal chrome bumpers. Otherwise this car was a totally bad idea from front to rear.
Say what? You don’t really live in deer country do you?
First of all, as a fellow deer killer, deer congregate as much on well used secondary roads as they do on far out in the woods little traveled lanes. Thus intentionally blinding all oncoming traffic just to spot the deer ahead of time might lead to more incidents that you might wish to avoid. Hence I much prefer your…
And they usually give up on the tech or the model once they are really good. The Volt is a prime example. Another one way back when is the Fiero, which simply wasn’t any good when introduced, but by the time it was cancelled was actually pretty decent. They were one of the first to introduce 4 wheel steering and only…
I might just lock my car and eat my burger at the side of the road while the cop knocks on my window. That burger isn’t going to waste, well it is, but internally. Driving away from the cops usually gives more trouble than even a great burger is worth.
I took one look at the pictures and knew that it was a faded forest green 944 with an off color vinyl roof only to read the article to discover that this thing is black all the way around. That interior looks like it has never been properly washed and shined. I was certain that this was a No Dice until I got to the…
You’re right about pull through stalls. Everyone backing out of their charging slots while others are driving into theirs will lead to extreme carnage on North American roads; we can’t handle having to back into such a narrow lane while also having to watch for oncoming traffic.
Thanks for a great laugh!
Of course if you are only going to drive it on a golf course (illegal of course) you could use all the distractions available in a modern car to avoid getting bored. This is a waste of a zero distraction dashboard.
You change the building codes so they have to supply such a necessary item.
Not once did the article define gas as gasoline, but clearly that was the subject. You just had to read the entire article to make sure. To use the word gas in that way is incredibly confusing.
Those mods turned me right off; No Dice!
Regarding neutral, I’m okay, but still out of a job. Just wondering, if parking in NYC is such a nightmare, then why would an automotive journalist want to live there? Makes no sense to me. Then again, I’ve never been to New York so I wouldn’t know what kind of sacrifice leaving NYC would be for you.
I’ll take the Beetle over that ugly paintjob on that Audi any day.
It used to be that all the manufacturers that sold in the USA as well as other places sold their best and most beautiful models in the USA. It now seems that China gets the most attractive models.
I’d say half the guns in the USA could be melted down to build new cars and what not and you’d still have every single gun owner with more than one. There is something in the air over the USA to have that many guns in the hands of that many people.
