I thought that all BMW’s went out with a bang, LOL. Seriously, I don’t think most of these will see more than about 5000 miles per year. These are for collectors.

Nah, I think writing about it to us and commiserating with all of us is his therapy. Then he’s on to the next project and it starts all over again. Thanks for seeing us as your therapy group. I do wish that manufacturers used anti-seize compound on all their threaded products.
I had to laugh when I saw “high interest savings account.” My high interest savings accounts pays all of 0.15%.
Nah, that only makes sense for overnight charging. And if you want to take a road trip you can’t stop every 5 hours for an overnight stay. You actually want to get to your destination. So put high speed charging stations by every Perkins, Dennies, IHOP, Olive Garden, Applebee’s, etc.
I live in Alberta, but I’m sure that the distinctions vary where you’re from. The only Parkway I’ve ever seen is the highway that connects Banff and Jasper within the Canadian national parks. In Michigan I drove on Beltways, but what exactly made them beltways I never really knew. It seemed to be a cross between…
Thanks!
If you have to resort to “I’m with the media” then their warranty isn’t worth “S**t”.
When you can get an Escape Hybrid Titanium for the same price as a regular Escape Titanium then you really have to want the 2.0 Ecoboost to get it over the Hybrid. Most people would prefer the hybrid after they’d tried it. I suspect something similar is the case with electric vehicles although it is hard to find one…
Another point to make is even when you only use your car a few times a year get at least an annual oil change. No filter is supposed to stay on the car for 3 to 10 years. Perhaps a wrench needs to be made that fits the holes in the plate.
I had the opposite happen. I paid and still got the parking ticket. Took me about 1/2 an hour on the phone to get the ticket removed.
Close, this one is South African and is probably in Afrikaans.
Sounds to me like you replaced a lot more parts on your Fit than I did on my 2003 Focus I bought used late 2004 in 10 plus years.
Reverse: A great year for automobiles? Not with these suggestions: “. . . this was showgoers’ first opportunity to familiarize themselves with the C5 Corvette, Dodge Durango and Mercedes-Benz CLK.” I don’t like a single Dodge Durango and the Mercedes CLK is pretty Meh. Then there’s the C5 which had great capability…
Not true, some bad advice comes from very expensive lawyers. Or for that matter from very expensive politicians.
Wants driving experience similar to a Miata and gets recommended large station wagons that have no fun to their driving experiences at all. The Focus RS and the Hyundai are good suggestions. Perhaps this would be the time to recommend a Mini Cooper clubman or something similar or perhaps a BMW X1.
AC is also just called air in a lot of places.
What is a leading shoe? I’ve never had a leading shoe in my life.
A freeway is a highway with limited access and no traffic lights. A highway is a paved rural or suburban road. You get the picture. Everyone uses the same words but in various regions the nuances are different.
Nearly every buyer of a fairly new diesel truck complains about the DEF and the electronic controls on the new engines. Nearly every one of those people has positive recollections of the old much less powerful big diesels. Perhaps that’s the draw to this. Otherwise I don’t get it at all.
Any old pulp and paper mill smells as bad as anything I could imagine.
