Unless otherwise written in the sales agreement, private sales are always as is.  You just proved it with your statement.

It had more to do with oil changes. By the time I got rid of it after 13 years and 420 000 km, it still hadn’t gained much rust.

It would be better PR if they promised delivery in September and actually started deliveries in May.  Now if they don’t start deliveries until June or August they will look bad once again. Not a great strategy.

It is a gorgeous example of a 2002 truck, but it is a 20 year old truck. Before I’d hand over that kind of dough, I’d need to know that it is mechanically and physically immaculate. It does show you how today’s trucks have amazing horsepower and if the weight of a 1/2 ton with an extended cab could be anywhere near

Wow!  A literal meat wagon!  I do wonder about the bacteria that wagon would host.

And it surprised me that it wasn’t a car movie, but more of a character movie.

Neutral, it looks way more like a Suzuki than any Jeep/Chrysler product ever.

Yes, instead of being anonymous, it has become super aggressive and ugggglyyyyy!

Thanks for this wonderful tale. Keep up the good work!

This seems like the worst idea I’ve ever seen.  The chance of knocking the cup out of its place while driving is great and it blocks visibility in the area that already has visibility issues.

It seems like he does.  Anything below 8 seconds for a compact sport-ute would be good in my books, but he would rate that at a 2 out of 10.

Thanks for the memories, as I’d forgotten these existed.  Still No Dice at that price.  Only a true fanatic would pay this much for one of these.

I’m surprised they had a V6 and not an inline 6 in that Cutlass.

I’d say my 74 Pontiac Ventura would have qualified quite easily.

Except most Japanese cars came with timing belts in interference engines and many people forgot that they were supposed to change those belts along with the water pumps.

I agree with your assessment.  I had a 91 Tercel and when I changed the oil at a Michigan Toyota dealer at about 380 000 km’s all of the service advisors were astonished that mine was still around.  Apparently Tercel buyers in Michigan never maintained their cars and thus this “most reliable” (according to Consumers

I’m not sure if any of these categories fit what I would call reliable except perhaps the first, cooperative. But I would not consider a 3000 miles oil change interval reliable today.  My Escape had 8000 km oil changes which is somewhere north of 5000.  I’m intending to change my Fusion’s Oil twice a year since it is

Triple star this!

Love the selections today, although instead of the GTO I would recommend the Chevrolet SS.  I think I’m going to go in another direction, which is a Grand Cherokee or an Explorer.  Both can be had with plenty of power and come with a RWD AWD system (at least with the later Explorers.)  Not sure if you can get the RWD

Since this is a car for the occasional summer drive, the need for headlights isn’t so great hence NP!
