You’re absolutely right.  Not many of these drivers will be able to get the most out of these vehicles and not many of them will regularly book a track date.  However, if I did have the funds to buy one of these then I’d probably also want to set aside a budget for taking it on the track once or twice a year.

Around here a loaded new Accord goes for quite a bit more than 38 000 (Canadian), but your point is well made.

The only question is whether you can carry extra batteries for extra range.  Is this the kind of bike where you take the batteries out to charge them in the house?  If it is then you could certainly increase the range greatly by carrying extra batteries.

There’s the reason that GM was wise not to build it; too many of us enthusiasts don’t want to spend the money on a new vehicle.  So many great ideas end up failing as a result.

If it wasn’t for the terribly uncomfortable looking seats, this would have been an attractive option in the segment and a much more desirable option than Buick’s Encore.  I really wish that GM would have built this.

Wow, it is absolutely shocking to discover that a car costing the equivalent of about 1000 dollars is not well put together and uses inferior components and materials.  It does seem that some of these components should be replaced with much better components, but then I fear that the whole balance of the car might be

As far as I know each Canadian Tire store has a couple of charging parking spots, but during the time you shop in the store you might add only 5 km or so if you’re lucky.  No, GM should focus on building fast chargers if they want to sell a lot of electric cars.

I’d never buy one of these GM minivans as I didn’t even like them new.  However, even I recognize that this would be a Nice Price if it does pass an inspection.

If any of those financial advisors told even a single story about their client they would be ex financial advisors.  One of the highest values of financial advisors is client confidentiality.

It’s like the mid to late 80's when people were lining up at Jeep dealerships to pay luxury vehicle money for a lifted station wagon (Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer) that was designed in the early 60's.  I didn’t get that then and I don’t get this vehicle now.

If you’re going to be so critical of someone else’s comments, at least try and spell your comment correctly.

I’m sorry, but I think that price is probably too much for a brand new one, with all the other options on the road and off.  To think about spending so much cash on one that has had all of its easy low maintenance miles behind it, and having to repay the prior owner for all his foolish modifications, I don’t know how

Full spectrum color was only discovered in the 80's” and by the 2010's was almost completely lost.  Fixed it for you.

So sad that you live in such a backwards city with no chance to move to a more modern one or upgrade the city you live in.

I live in a townhouse with an attached garage.  Many condo dwellers also have access to garage or assigned parking and electrical hookups would be reasonably easy to install.  All it takes is a number of people in the association to buy into the idea or to buy the realization that an electrical outlet or charging

I don’t know where you live, but around here most people who live in single family dwellings or even in townhouse dwellings are perfectly suited for at home charging.  Many condo’s also offer garage style parking, where charging for a daily commute should be quite easy and relatively cheap.

Sounds to me like the numbskulls in charge of leading the company into bankruptcy are still there trying to finish what they started.  I can see a lot of people wanting to rent these cars to see what electrics are like before buying them for themselves, but at the same time I wouldn’t want to spend any of my travel

I’m with you in this situation.  My own dear 2013 Escape is now dearly departed due to a deer offensive.  Of course the insurance (comprehensive as well) seriously devalued my Escape as it had about 230 000 km, so it was immediately written off as totaled.   Hence this deer mishap now has me making dear payment for 6

Some of these which have been nominated for their reliability simply are reliable according to a definition that is inadequate.  The number of times I’ve seen an Old Alero being worked on in a parking lot is to some a definition of reliability (in that almost anyone can repair problems), but to me is not reliable.  To

Toblerone yeah!
