I’d love to see a 2 cylinder engine hybrid.  I’m sure that it would do the job as effectively as a current 4 cylinder car.

You may have forgotten that Ford introduced another hybrid pickup before the Maverick and it is also very good.  That hybrid system is focused on power delivery over fuel economy, while this one prioritizes fuel economy.  They are both incredibly good hybrids.

Of course if your bedroom is in a slanted upstairs area, the wrong side of the bed is the side that is under the lower end of the slant.  Getting up on that side usually leads to a headache of sorts.

Although I would suggest some under-stressed engines had enough issues of their own. My old Mercury Zephyr with the 3.3L straight 6 only offered up a mealy 88 hp, but blew a number of head gaskets.
