Perhaps if the Ram diesel continues to sell well they will rethink the "No Diesel for you" policy in the USA.

With modern updated electronics the systems on the car could be updated as well. You know, old Porsches and VWs could have their engines removed in half an hour and they are upgradable as well. Don't like it? Don't buy it. BMW obviously recognizes that they can make money this way- more power to them. Will it drive like the Ford C Max? Will buttheads who still think they own the road because they drive a BMW buy one? The answer to these questions and more will be revealed in time.
