Bring the bench to America. The design looks great, I think this will expand the Palisade market share. Very classy exterior, nice interior.

Any idea of pricing on the ICe models? What their weights might be?
The new Charger/Challenger, not available until SPRING of 2025, costs almost double the outgoing model. How many folks will be stopping off to trade in their old ones? How many new prospects won’t even stop in the showroom?
Stellantis needs a sales hit, like yesterday. So what do they have to sell right now? Where are the new Evs to replace the Challenger/Charger/300? Crickets. What about other vehicles? Hornet, try to find one for the base price, most are 40-45k.

It’s about a car, not your sore ass politics.
Key question. Is the “Style” worth the huge price delta and range limitations? If yes, enjoy.
I specced out a Sienna Platinum with every option, including the extra cost pearl white paint, macadamia leather, 300w inverter, entertainment package, spare tire (WHY extra) and the digital rearview mirror and the price was $60,060. How you get mid 60s is beyond me.
It just screams cheap, even if, in typical German fashion it isn’t.
Thanks for making Klone’s point. Where are the new Phaetons and Arteons? Not being made anymore, point made. The Jetta is a decent, actually really nice car for the price, and the GLI has a loyal following as well. They are priced like “peoples cars.”

I can get past the drum brakes, drum brakes make sense at the rear of a vehicle and we shall see soon how stopping power is from more detailed reviews. Spending 70k plus for a van with range less than a discontinued Chevy Bolt? I think not. Imagine the time you’d spend on charge driving the kids on vacation and in…
I feel for the young man. We don’t, however, have enough data to tell whether the engine exceeded redline by 25rpm or several thousand rpm. We can pontificate all we want, but we don’t have all the facts. I congratulate the young man for getting a manual. But this is yet another reason manuals are dying, just because…
How do you over rev a modern engine. Rev it past the red line until the limiter cuts in. With a manual its also possible to downshift too early and over rev.
The W-16 was quad turbo. What they said was that they considered using a naturally aspirated version of this engine for the new car. Not that the original was naturally aspirated. It’s somewhat confusingly worded.
I think the CT will be a seller for years to come. Most of the trucks here in the midwest are badly rusted after only a few years. My son, who is a body man, has told me a lot of stories of rust that comes off trucks just a couple years old when removing a body panel for a repair. (None about ‘16 and up Fords though) T…
GM has gone from almost 60% market share to aboout 16.9% currently. They’ve pissed away the good will of millions of customers and reaped the loss. I hope current management “Gets it” and brings good vehicles to market with good pricing. Not everyone can afford a 50k “Entry level” EV that they currently sell. GM did…
I’m guessing there is much more to the story that we aren’t hearing. I served on a Grand jury for a term and I can tell you that what you hear on the news, or for those who still read papers, read is about 10-30% of the real story many times.
What’s the deal with the ring racer being only open for 5 days? That’s a LOT of work for just five days of riding. Was it unsafe?
One thing to consider is that rarity is NOT a virtue when you need parts and repairs. Of course, this is coming from a guy who loves orphan cars.
