Well for my money the worst car ever was the Pontiac Aztec. I remember the first time I saw it at Detroit, like an accident you can't look away from. NO amount of pretty ladies could disguise this fat turd on the stand. I was horribly disappointed this car was to be produced, and it was ultimately one of the worst

Convertible sales are dropping somewhat. I think Chrysler has an opportunity here, to make a four door convertible with a retractable canvas top that leaves the door frames intact, very similar to their Fiat 500. I think Buick did a Cielo show car some years ago with this idea based on the then current Regal. They

Sounds like the convertible is toast then, any word on that?

If you like your transmission you can keep your transmission. In the quest for increased sales Chevy is doing a wise thing, increased sales is a valid goal and there is no need to leave them on the table because many folks won't buy a manual car. If we want to keep the Corvette around it IS important to recognize that

Wow, that looks good. Automatic transmission? Well, it will still roll quickly. Can't wait to see it in the "Flesh"

Hey, just put the little 3 pot in the oversized glovebox and you'd have the whole darn underhood area for an extra trunk. Surely they could use the rear view mirrors for radiators!!

The economy sucks, people don't have much cash these days, that is unless they have bags of it. Lots of people are left out of the new car buying schema these days and often buys used crap with a bazillion miles and little maintenance as its what they can afford. Is there a market? Yes. Can Elio succeed? I sure hope

Will GM follow suit with their little 1.4 with cylinder deactivation?

Nice eco model but MUCH smaller than Passat

Was there not asupposed three valve variant of the LT-1 in development?

Ah, don't get your panties in a bunch buster!

A strong case could be made for the Phantom Corsair of 1938 designed by Russell Heinz of the ketchup family. He planned a production run but died after the first car was completed. The car still looks good with its art deco detailing. Based on a Cord 812 chassis it featured front wheel drive and a Lycoming V-8 engine

Had no idea it was a joke, but then you opened your mouth and I found you were one as well. God Bless ya!

I am really surprised that this has not shown up on any video games, yet. Rest well good sir.

You do know there was a war on then right? People were manning guns and stuff like that. No I phones either. It happened. Get over it.

Wonderful episode. I am thrilled that Leno actually shares this stuff with us. Mr Iacocca is a legend, and to see and hear him once more is pretty cool. Hard to believe he is 89 years of age, but none of us are as young as we used to be. God Bless ya Jay!

Rest well Andy Granatelli, you gave motorsports a lot of color in your long run.

Cool indeed. The convertible is not a Toronado though, perhaps an early cutlass model though.

Very interesting stuff. Yunick was one to really think outside the box and do some really cool things. Supposedly the performace was pretty good as well with this concept. The lubricant needs may have been the reason that the retrofit was not marketed. Shame that Yunick died when he did, he was an interesting soul.

Is this a steam operated engine. It seems from the easily reversible nature that it might be steam operated.
