I have a love/hate relationship with Slaine. I love Pat Mills' use of Celtic mythology but hate that goddess nonsense. There is no evidence at all that the Celts' primary deity was some generic goddess.

I've seen most of those...and with a few exceptions, they mostly suck.

This trailers seems closer in tone to the novel than the first one.

"Can you hear me Major Tom?" Other than the costumer apparently thinking that astronauts are still whit men in foil flight suits, it seemed pretty good. A nice head scratcher.

One of the things I liked about the reimagined Battlestar Galactica was that even though they had FTL drives, using them was largely reserved for emergencies. Space travel was routine in the 12 colonies but still considered dangerous. One of the things that made The Forever War awesome was the way Haldeman depicted

I think Skeletor's wackiest scheme was the time he infected the palace computer with an electric demon...so he could hurt Man-at-Arms' self-esteem.

That would have been two great tastes that go great together. The Jim Henson creature shop eventually created the Vogons for the Hitchhiker's movie. They were best part of the movie.

This list is exactly what I expected it to be. I would have a slightly different order but whatever.

Did the study compensate for the fact that IQ tests are scored differently before and after a person turns 16 or that IQ scores can fluctuate by as much as 20 points depending on conditions under which the person takes the test? Is it known, for example, if any of the subjects were stoned at the time they took the IQ

These comics make Chick tracts seem sane.

I fell in love with GoT after the first episode. I hadn't even finished reading the first book at that point. The first couple of episodes inspired me to read the books as quickly as possible. It took me a few episodes to warm up to the X-Files. My interest in Babylon 5 took a few episodes. It was the sense of humor

As long as it doesn't turn out as bad as the abortion that was ABC's "V" reboot, I'll be fine with it.

The suits look like what I imagined when I read the book.

I like that the opening monologue is almost direct quote from the book.

If anyone calls the Hobbit a prequel, I'll reach through the interwebs and strangle them.

Metropolis is Cleveland where Jerry Segal and Joe Shuster were from. Gotham is clearly New York City. Gotham has been another name for Manhattan since 1807.

Yes but does he play drums in a pop band like Jabberjaw?

How lame!

What a bunch of paranoid nonsense. More ridiculous looking than the original.

Remember ALF? He's back in POG form.
