@Cleesox: There is no defense against hypersonic ship killers: [www.theage.com.au]
@Jukebox hates exclusive content.: Agreed. In no way do I support Iran, but this "article" is just embarrassingly bad.
@Derek Pegritz: I disagree. I read it, suffused with confusion yes, but it has still not left me.
@frankenstoen: Edit: Image upload fail/youtube upload fail.
@Damob: Agreed.
@Captain_Tripps: Hate for Kevin J. Anderson AND love for Ursula Le Guin?
@sicboi: If I hadn't already thrown out everything with Kevin J Andersons name on it, I would gladly attend!
@sicboi: I am completely with you. Kevin J. Anderson is a talentless hack. There. I said it.
Theo Jansen is a genius. Pure and simple. His designs for the dynamic efficiency of legged movement are amazing.
@Insecure Penguin: You don't think it is a tad easier to let one official government body check the food than having everybody checking their food individually - and with no expertise - to see if it contains something that could be bad for you?
@joe57005: But you can't breed salmon with ocean pout. There are limits to the mutations you are able to breed into a species. Generally mixing different species is not an option when breeding - unless they are very similar.
@Dr. What?: How is overfishing a species of fish better for the environment than breeding said fish for consumption? Aren't they both bad? If the world consumed the amount of fish it does today, and no fish farms existed, the salmon would probably be extinct already.
@Ian Logsdon: Farmed salmon now eat corn instead of fishmeal. Yummy. Vegetarian fish? More or less the only herbivorous fish farmed extensively is the Pangasius family of south-east Asian catfishes. Transporting them to the US doesn't help the environment either.
@The Lab: But you can't breed a salmon with another species of fish. You can't breed animals with plants. That is one big difference between breeding and genetically modifying creatures.
@OMG! FriedPeeps: Very impressive...
@OMG! FriedPeeps: So let me get this straight. Soap Flakes "fails so bad, dude" because he doesn't immediately recognize a South Park episode from a single sentence?
@Joe Stoner: Although his comment was crass I don't see racism anywhere? Unless you believe Americans are of a specific race?
@chefgon: Aah the beauty of the US justice system.
@thepolarbear: I've seen it several times in Denmark and two times in Greeland. I've also seen it in Ireland. When the conditions are right you can see "northern lights" quite southerly.
