The Beans, Oh the Beans!

Duly noted and I get what you are saying. You actually just gave me a lot of food for thought on an area of the world I'm not that familiar with but am interested in. Thank you!

Are you slow? Food hoarding absolutely was illegal in Elizabethan England.

Oblivious troll is oblivious. It was a joke. But aren't you special?

I had no idea until today that Margaret Cho was tattooed at all but I am impressed with her ink now that I know (not that she needs my opinion, lol). This was a wonderfully written piece, I hope she finds a more welcoming place to get her spa on.

I don't get the Kardashian hate, especially for Kim. I'm not a fan of the show but how is what she does different than a fashion model? Why are these 16 year old waifs taken more seriously than a Kardahsian when really all of them are getting paid for their looks. The author hit the nail on the head in my opinion; it

Did you actually read this article or did you just skim it? She makes a point of saying that staying at home is a valid choice for both mothers and fathers. I think you're just an idiot with a chip on her shoulder who came here to argue. Please work on your reading comprehension.

Agreed. Do people even look at the ads on Facebook? I learned to tune internet ads out a long time ago. Except for those fucking pop up mofos and the Youtube ads that go on for 30 seconds causing me to reload until it lets me skip it after 5 seconds. Damn you Youtube!!!!!!

Did you know that there is an option (other) where you can actually write in why you don't like the ad? I like to think there is a position at Facebook where people are forced to read these When I get bored I write hilariously offensive things.

Body snarking much on Eva Longoria?

I am somewhat of a prepper and I was totally vindicated from my friend's and families' mocking when hurricane Sandy hit and I had supplies, a generator and enough water and food to last the entire 6 weeks we were without power. No smelly shelters for me, like a boss. - Also, I am calling my period Shark Week from now

I'm a parent who hates the type of asshole the author talks about and I've also worked in retail and food service and I am extremely friendly and polite to people in the service industry. I don't see your point here. Why would I not be? Because I popped out a kid?

I think she would have said Madeline Albright instead of Katie Couric if she had know but I don't think it's that big of a deal. She gets on my nerves either way but not for something so silly.

I think the entire "this week in tabloids" series needs to be read in the StrongBad voice. It would make something that is already awesome epic. Burnination!

You're a poor.

There was a nurse who murdered babies in the hospital where I was born in Texas (and she was still employed when I was born so I guess I should feel lucky). My mom told me about it when I was a teenager and I just watched an episode of "Deadly Women" about it on the ID channel. Creepy!

Agreed. All you have to do is read a few interviews of Seth McFarlane to see that he is the complete opposite of a woman hating misogynist. I definitely think his brand of humor is meant to shine a light on how chauvinism, homophobia, racism etc. etc. are still prevalent in society.

I don't see the outrage here, I really think they were just referring to the color. That is most definitely an elephant grey. Personally I think the dress was too large for her and could have been tailored better, so it does look like a dress meant for someone else.

Wasn't Extreme Makeover a similar show? Then they did the whole home edition spin off and pretended it's horror show parent program didn't exist (if memory serves). I could Google it but I get in enough shenanigans at work.

Here is some more info, the answer to this question is far from clear.

I have two friends who are from Macedonia and neither consider themselves to be white by US standards so I think it's debatable.
