Just another corperate chill

…are you just going to end the comment there without telling the story?

Wha? No, I inferred it from Mirror Gem/Ocean Gem. Pearl said, "how could I have known the Gem contained in that mirror would be so powerful?" suggesting she wasn't surprised it was imprisoning a sentient Gem, just that it wasn't able to keep her contained.

They thought that the Gem contained inside the mirror was not strong enough to resist a user's commands and start communicating, I thought. I was under the impression anything with a gem stuck to it was a device being powered by a sentient Gem, like how the Elder Scrolls magic items are powered by gemstones containing

I mean, they knew someone was in the mirror, they identified it as a "Gem-powered artifact." She was put there by someone on Homeworld's side, to turn her into an interrogation device. She was angry that the Crystal Gems didn't even "wonder who I used to be."

At least our plural ones aren't, like some other languages (As my Spanish teacher put it in her heavily-accented voice, "Espanish is the most sexiest language")

That's no fun! I still say it's because his dad is Mister Mime.

My friend did a panel on this at our college's anime convention. It turns out Ash stays 10 because - actually I'm not gonna spoil it. Just look at the video.

Yeah, I remember they didn't get the type matchups entirely correct; like, it was a running plot point that Rock types were immune to electricity, even though in the game that's the Ground type.

Linda is occasionally a bit much, but here it worked wonderfully because everything she did was so ridiculously, over-the-top funny. A- for me.

"A stranger's just a friend you haven't taken candy from yet."

I remember in one of the first episodes they outright had a couple stay at their house that practiced BDSM.

He warned you! He's gonna be whining! Whining like never before! So much whining, you're gonna be all "please, Donald, no more whining" but the whining just won't stop keep coming. It will be so good.

It's all the lying that makes him live forever. That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange eons even Death may die…

I don't!

I wonder about that. It did seem to create a much more believable clone of Greg than any of the others, and he's the only person cloned that she would have prior knowledge of…

It's gaslighting, a staple weapon of emotional abusers that cripples the victim's ability to make sound judgments by giving the abuser total authority over how past events "really" happened. It's sad seeing politicians do this on a massive scale to their own party. I wish I knew how to get that many people out of an

'People like to be told what they already know. Remember that. They get uncomfortable when you tell them new things. New things…well, new things aren’t what they expect. They like to know that, say, a dog will bite a man. That is what dogs do. They don’t want to know that a man bites a dog, because the world is

Well, that's several hours of my life I'm never getting back. But I spent them re-discovering the comic Marry Me and learning how surreal it actually gets.

Is it too much to ask that we get taken over by an insane fascist demagogue who can at least string words together into intelligible sentences?!
