I love "Love Like You" for how beautifully you gradually realize it must be a message from Rose to Greg. When she became reborn in Steven, it proved she really would do just about anything to begin to become half of what Greg thought of her as (a human being).

I thought that would happen with "Bubbled." Given the flashback in "Mindful Lesson," maybe that's the catalyst. Those poor Rubies were the first individuals he ever "permanently" erased from the narrative.
